Just came across this mission and didn't see it listed with the mission updates on the Eve survival. Anyone get this before? I'd like some info before I just jump in. Rats? Anything else I should look for?
Mission briefing
We need a big shipment of Geodite crystals for a client of ours, some gemology lab. These gemologists figure they might be able to get some decent stones out of it and make a bit of profit that way. Whatever. They want to pay for it, so it's all good by me. And you'll get your cut, donĘt worry.
You have to collect 2800 units (44800m3)

It's one of the new mining missions - no biggy but you do need a Hulk and a alt in a hauler to get it in quickly. Geodite is a Dark Ochre variant if I recall things correctly. There's a little bit of Veld there as well - nothing to write home about. If you don't have the capabilities to pull 4-5K m3/3 minute cycle I would give it a miss. The only attraction of mining missions is the LPs (5-7K - depending on the agent quality and system security) as you can certainly make more ISK by normal mining...

Actually one of the attractions of the mining missions are they can work like private asteroid belts:
Feeding the Giant: 3.5m Veld, 1.1m Scordite
Geodite: 1.7m Veld
Aristite Envy: 4.25m Veld
They are all encounters which means you can warp around the belt and warp your hauler right to your cans. You can ignore the extra ore and just mine up the 'target ore' for the LP/pay/standing and it's not a terrible way to get some standing. But for those who struggle to find ore to mine, a mining agent (particularly a lv 4 one) can be an excellent resource.

There is also another mining mission called 'Mother Load' which apart from the Veldspar also gives 25k Pyroxeres and 2,500 Hedbergite.
