Is there any good Anti Pirates corps/alliances ?
I see alot of new corps start out with the idea, but i say they probably get kicked about by more experienced pirate pilots.
I was just wondering is there any experienced pilots who focus on anti piracy. Closest I can think of is MC maybe between contracts or CVA but I haven't heard much about them lately , guess there busy with there 0.0 wars.

Good and anti-pirates typically doesn't go in the same sentence. They're mostly little blob-tards.

I haven't seen many effective anti-pirates; mainly because it is a tough job and targets (i.e. pirates) can be few and far between. If anti-pies do spot pirates, we're usually NOT alone.
I know of only one anti-pirate (personally) who is good. 50FreeFly. However, this individual has recently jumped to the darkside and now pirates with Blood Corsair's...
The United Freemen Alliance [UFC] are an anti-pirate alliance that I have had dealings with. Give them a shout. 'Purify' is one the corps.

Thats usually what happens with most anti-pirates, they are all just pirates in the making!
And as far as I know, MC corps where pirate corps before they decided to turn mercenaries.

i actually find pirates to be polite and easy to talk to, and anti-pirates to be blobbing, insulting smacktards
I recommend finding a pirate corp, its more fun anyway

Being Anti-Pirate is difficult because pirates tend to run fast if they think they are about to die. I used to run successful ops for The Vigil, which is an anti pirate alliance, however the Vigil is in a state of rebuild atm and I have been without a weekday internet connection for over 3 months sadly and getting home at the weekends gives me little play time. However I am getting all the ****e training done that I wouldn't otherwise do
Lord Chaos is your best bet for some fun if he will allow you to fly with him. Pirates talk big when they have numbers... when they don't expect smack from someone sitting in a station.

Edited by: Johncrab on 03/01/2008 15:00:58 Do it alone or with 1 or 2 friends tops. Otherwise you'll just be called blobing tard like most anti-pies. And blobs won't get you anywhere. Most pirates know when to come out and fight and when to stay docked.
If people want to be anti-pies and be any good at it... don't advertise about it. Make a kill and move to the next one. Only you need to know what your target selection is like.
Edit: The only thing a anti-pie corp or alliance can be of any use is controling space. Losec pockets or certain number of systems. If a corporation sets base there and flyes out every day with big gangs, they can keep the area clean from pirates. If the idea is to go after them and kill them in their one terf, then you need a low profile or be able to make intelligent traps. |

Foundation alliance in the Molden Heathe region seems to be an anti-pirate alliance in charge of keeping order and peace in the region.

It sounds like you are asking if there are any good Privateer corps/alliances, which their are.
I've noticed those Corps who try to be "Anti-Pirate" fade quickly also. Most likely they go broke, get discouraged from boredom, and/or finally realizes that nobody really cares and goes into more profitable enterprises.

Carebears talk big when they have numbers... when they don't expect smack from someone sitting in a station and/or clone vat between irrational bursts of sending hatemail and cursing your mother for blowing up their mining caracal.

Pirates, non-pirates, eh, whatever. We basically kill anything we can get our hands on that aren't blue.
Flashy reds are nice because they're sentry-free targets. :)
Of course, COE seems to think we're pirates, mostly because I lost a fat chunk of sec status killing macroers and isk-farmers, but that's fine with me. I do it for fun, not for a living. ;) ----- CEO, Astrum Contract Services Group

they have just figured out how to fit their ships is all. so many poorly fit ships jump into lowsec it seems.
that and some of the antipies seem to like to fly around you when your outside a station and try to goad you into fighting them, when your in a ship that can barely tank sentries, oh and they are in a recon and gank bs. theres a good fight
or jump you with a 20man gang.
