Someone has to pay for fuel to hold sov, administer stations and settings, defend the sov claims, etc. Just paying 200m for that is inanely cheap. seriously, if you think 200m per month for a corp isn't a steal (thats less than 7m per DAY... or under 20 minutes of ratting for 1 person), try taking your corp to any 'free' NPC 0.0 space like Stain or Curse and see how long it takes you to lose 200m worth of ships to pirates and gankers, and see how much you can make in that time. I bet you'll be deep in the red if your not already experienced in 0.0. Even in the worst truesec 0.0, you can make 10m/hr on bounties alone without trying. Have a corp of 10 guys do that and set a 10% corp tax. For every hour everyone rats, thats 10m. Do 1 hour a day thats 300m/month.... for 1 hour per day. Monthly fee paid for. And, each member ends up with 290m in their wallet, plus loot+salv. Heck, 1 decent exploration site can pay the entire thing, and its not to hard to find a handful of them every week. nice job, TCF. best of luck

All the whining stuff about the "expansive" taxe is stupid. Only unorganized corporations can't afford a 200M a month taxe. Unorganized corporations never stay long in 0.0. The management team of FTZ is easily reachable, they consider every requests and are really accommodating. If you think the way they manage FTZ is not efficient, suggesting some improvements is more usefull than *****ing by the way. The only bad thing with FTZ for me is that they host some macro NPC killers. I don't know if something is made about that. FTZ should really avoid recruiting corporations that host those macros. This was just my personal experience / opinion of FTZ.

Tycoon inc	Posted - 2008.01.16 17:57:00 - [40] Please Read for all those who are Considering TCF/FTZ for a Home: Some Friends and I ended up moving out into TCF/FTZ space with a corporation of ours in the hopes of gaining ISK from mining and ratting. We contacted the right people had access to Wicked Creek and Detroid along with some other regions we visited for a short period of time. The first three days went smoothly that started on a friday and we were able to rat/mine at our leasure around our area of what we now called home. We knew about the 200M monthly payment to the alliance which we all thought this was a fair deal for all the Arkonor we could mine out there at the time. Starting the next week their diplomate contacted us and told us to start following some rules that they had set forth for their area, and i remind you which we were paying to occupy to supply them with Ore Tax. Anything from manufacturing,ratting,exploration,moon mining, etc.. they had regulations that restricted a regular player from enjoying an area too much. We ended up taking a look at the ratting map we had of the region and any system that was a -.6 or lower off the beaten path was taken from us or "restricted" from FTZ only able for TCF pilots. All the other regions (which were like 2) were always camped with a minimum of 5 people in it (right when the servers came back up) too 15 in the evening. Of course they will tell you they have other systems which are available but they do not tell you that they are in the main gang traffic areas when pvpers come in looking for nice sweet targets to shoot. I ended up loosing 2-3 BS's from the area's and you might say i wasn't following protocol in 0.0 right? For one reason or another i was maybe in a random belt in the line like # 12 out of 32 and they found me within 20 seconds of them jumping in and if i was lucky i would get 50 seconds from the local chat alarm. Which also brings my point out of the 4 months we were station out in WC and Detroid (mostly) i only saw TCF bring up arms to protect FTZ twice out of maybe 60+ raids from PvPer's. Well lets move on to a new topic shall we? Ok mining, we the fact is that they have no restrictions on mining except that you have to refine in their stations. This is fine for us and we're able to make a profit non the less from running our minerals into empire in a recon since we didn't have access to a carrier. Well most people would be like lets sell it on the market for a little under Empire price right? Wrong, another rule from TCF is that ONLY TCF members can place buy orders on the market which fro megacyte was like 1000 ISK and Zydrine for 1000 or lower. These prices never fluxed and we couldn't do anything about it. We sold the market (about 500K of both Zyd and megacyte) for 200 under market price in empire. This to our irony, never sold. We were like ok fine.. We'll moon mine. We ended up finding two moons in a system that we were ocupying and we were told we could not have reaction arrays or they would cost extra ISK a month for a Corp. I think it was 10M per if i recall correctly. Also, they asked us what we were mining and we never got back to them. The next day i ended up getting an E-mail from the person who asked me waht we were mining to send 25% of what was mined as tax to TCF. I was astonished that they knew and asked how they knew. He said instead of waiting for us to tell them they just did it themselves because they had free time to do things. (They have time to scan a moon down and tell you what they want from you for tax but can't defend you when your being attacked in the lease bit?) We worked the numbers and only found ourselve making a 2% profit a month from this tax and and the other costs associated with the production. The last thing we ended up doing was Exploration. Exploration was awesome for the first two weeks untill one of our members told a TCF member apart of COLSUP what he was getting from certain systems and how lucritive it was

Well not to our surprise it wasnt a week till TCF put out new restrictions on Exploration in certain systems and what FTZ was "allowed" to do. This is what broke us and we ended up pulling out of FTZ and going back to empire to pursue other ventures of our own. I do not recommend FTZ/TCF to anyone at this moment unless you just want to make a 15% income off of what you mine taking the cost of Fuel for moving in a carrier and taxes included. I was really un impressed with the leadership given from FTZ about what was going on and what i found funny was after we found a good spot and it go out with mining. Tomorrow there will be 20-40 people in the system mining it as well because it is so "good". In the recent months since December i visited with an alt out in this region, the Raiding was even more problem some and i wouldn't be surprised if the regulations for FTZ are more exptensive. Also they have a lot of problems with Blue status with GOONS/RA/KOS and other alliances. I can't tell you what the power of TCF is or what it does or is doing currently because i dont speak French at all. But, i do know their pets are open for attack, nice targets of an easy kill, and are spread a bit think from how they are positioned right now. It wouldn't suprise me in the least if someone got a hint and checked out the space right now and saw the potential and the good home it could provide for those able to use it right. But, hay im American so i guess the French still have hard feelings about the war these days :) I dont recommend this to any new Corp or alliances. And ya you can call me a coward if you liek for posting with an Alt but i dont want to bring in the Corp i am currently with or was affiliated with and bring sully with their name in EVE, hope you guys can understand. :)
