It won't be long before the Fifth Alliance Tournament is broadcast by the EVETV crew, but they need some help in the studio. You think you have what it takes to provide commentary on the ongoing matches, chat with the Devs and can amaze the EVE community with your knowledge of the game, ships, fittings and tactics?

As far as I know neither jamesw or ifni work for CCP. Or am I wrong?

I daresay both Atropos and Mindstar (I&J respectively) will feature fairly heavily in the broadcast, but to lend them the mantle of EVE TV independent expert, which sometimes requires you to question CCP's call on a certain tournament or game mechanic or decision? Risky bidness

If I didn't have health issues preventing me from travelling, I would have seriously considered it. I just hope some decent folks apply, hopefully guys who have tournament experience, don't want my matches torn apart by n00bs

I really enjoyed the last tournament and thought all of your commentators did a good job.
I wouldnt mind seeing all of them back.
Some things I would remove or add:
1. Any commentator that says "goes down hard and fast" or "paper thin" should get his/her mic muted for 30 seconds ;)
2. Some form of live interview with the pilots or FCs after a fight would be great.
3. Improved Standings , Previous Matches, Upcoming Matches. This shouldnt be hard to do but it always seemed to be way behind what was actually occuring. I'll even volunteer to do it if its a manpower issue.
Thats about it, by the way I really do miss EveTV |

Fine in theory, but I know for a fact that most pilots are exhausted after a fight, and just want to lie down for a while afterward But it's a good idea, maybe have interviews conducted at a pre-agreed time, record them and post them on the EVETV website afterward.

Just let KIAeddz commentate all games, he's the only one that actually is fun to listen to, of those former commentators.
I mean:
Ifni, he and his girlie alt must still camp the reblier gate into 0.0, what has he done more than that?
Jamesw, oh, man, where the hell did you find that guy?
The girl is kind of good
Verone sucks at commentating, but he has earned his place in the studio.
And Stavros, LOL! Expert? at being overly arrogant, maybe.
the guy with the wig sucks the most though.
Oh, and GM Nova sucks also.

I agree with some of that, although I would say Trevedian gets treated harshly. Some of his traits are annoying, but this is an Alliance Tournament, and he is the only guy on the team who actually has been in the tournament and can appreciate the pilot's view. This gives him my respect.

Would be awsome to be able to get that much time off of work, Id have to get my passport updated tho.
