I really don't know what will be today's outcome (probably node death), but if it turns into supercapital death, I would say that BoB swinging by i1y to escort out the FIX freighter was probably a big factor in it. It got every major faction mobilized. Although the freighter got away, there were gangs already formed with nothing to do, which is why people wre able to get to 4-0 and 49-u so fast.

rsf support loses are estemated around 200-250 so far

Battle report thus far:
BoB sent a 70 man gang to Querius station i1y to escort out a FIX freighter that logged off in structure outside the station. Northern alliance forces numbered around 40ish at that time, so they couldn't do much but sit at a safe pos while the freighter in structure logged back on and was escorted 2 jumps to empire through 3-F.
During this time, Goons and RA were mobilizing to engage that 70 man gang, while the north continued to take invites. BoB gang went south towards 49-, objective unknown. They then went into the pipe towards FAT and lingered around the systems, in between 4-, RR, and 25s. Goons were cut-off as some were stuck in 49, and others in FAT/25S. However this turned into a pincer attack as the northern forces arrived in 49- and jumped into 4-07. BoB tried to get back into 49- but were stuck in 49-. They safespotted around while combined coalition/northern forces were watching both gates.
Shrike cynoed in 49- and then doomsdayed a northern fleet. The surviving BoB gang stuck safespot jumping in 4-0 then made a run for it and warped to 49- gate. After a few kills, everyone jumped through, and the fight at 49- began.
So far Shrike has doomsdayed about 2(3?) times. Hundreds of losses on north/south side from the doomsday button. The fighter loss on the GBC helps even up things a little bit. Last count 600 friendlies and 80? BoB in system.
Currently most of the south have a NRDS policy, including KOS and AAA(someone confirm?), and tortuga and the southern coalition.

Actually goons and most of the south were on orders not to log in system unless they were in dictors, rooks/bb, or capitals. It was bob trying to crash the system. Go away alt.
So again, should a Titan be able to take advantage of node lag and log off after doomsdaying multiple times? Or should aggression timers be increased to match the login/lag times?

I'm sure the rest of EVE will believe that goons were trying to crash the node so that Shrike could get out of his predicament. Please choose another way to spin this.
