The gods of EVE , deemed that this was not the time for the BoB Titna to die.

Remember this didn't start as a 'Lets kill a Titan op'.
It started as a 'lets go find stuff to kill op'.
That is why there were various ship types deployed on the field, As said orders filtered through to not log back in or to log out 'ships that would not aid directly in capital ship kill'.
Bob made a tactical mistake, and nearly lost a Titan to it as well as its supporting cap fleet, and that is the simple fact.
The fact that a post appeared on CAOD drawing in others when the situation was already under control, just exacerbated the already 5-10 min lag with around 180 people in system.
As I said, this time the gods of EVE decided shrike needed to live :)

Not everyone can afford a titan, so if their were some voyeurs in shuttles what the hey.
Some of you forget that even if now you fly badass T2 or officer fitted ships with the latest implants and feel invulnerable, most started in noob ship, mining for 20k isk per haul wondering how to make the 1st million and drooling about getting a trax (cos they looked huge and awesome) erm or was that just me :)
As already said, orders were given for all non essentail ships to log off, so maybe some didnt get order..give em a break :)
