No seriously. It's a beautiful thing seeing all RSF grunts cry over Shrike disconnecting (due to crash?) during a laggy battle, disappearing, and only logging in when he knows the coast is clear.
In case the RSF grunts have forgotten this is what you guys do on purpose. You don't scout for things properly, if you get jumped you Ctrl-Q. You don't protect your NPCers, if there's a roaming gang you Ctrl-Q. If your freighter just jumped into low-sec without a scout you Ctrl-Q. If you are roaming and you attack a system and a much larger gang is revealed you change system and Ctrl-Q.
When do you log back in again? About 1 minute before down-time, or when 30 of your mates arrive 2 hours later to blob whatever hostile force was originally there to make you log off.
Double standards I guess. It's okay for RSF to use dishonorable tactics, but during a laggy engagement where Shrike was probably lagged out and forced to disconnect it's a bloody out-rage.

the lads have got 2 be disapointed that shrike got away, but im sure everyone had there fun last night.
BOB and friends trying a save shrike, and Gewns and friends trynig 2 kill him. im sure they both enjoyed.. beats having another less than exciting fight.
lets all hope for many more fights like this in the future of eve, perhaps without the lag =]

You are obviously uninformed. Anyone can tell that I only have 6 friends in EVE! 
Although it does mildly annoy me when ships log out of the game to escape me, it doesn't make me bitter like you think it does. All I am trying to do here is point the double standard some of some RSF posters.

It's human to get frustrated over missing a gorgeous kill. It's apparently also human not to want to lose your gorgeous ship. Contradictions collapse.

That is your problem dude, you're always making some dumb observation based on something you read somewhere.
Me, well I was there, about 100km's from him when the node crashed. Up until that point, the TS server and combat channel was nothing more than pure spam of "LOG OFF IF YOU ARE IN A SMALL USELESS SHIP, KILL FRIENDLY PODS AT THE GATE, MAKE ROOM FOR CAPS!".
Lots of RSF who showed up in the only thing they had available, suffered through an hour or more of lag, only got there to experience massive blueballs for their effort as they followed orders and logged off to make room for the caps.
When the node came back up, it was reported that Shrike was not at the gate, and had not logged back in.
Stop making ******** threads about ******** stuff. You sound exactly like you did back in the old Molden Heath days where you used to run your mouth in local while zipping around in an inty, right up until the time I'd pop you - un-blueing said ballz.

Yes this. This is what I am talking about. I see a lot of Goons and other RSF in other threads making fun of Shrike for not logging in. My point is that not only would Goons log off even if the server wasn't laggy, but they would also not log in after a crash if their assets were in danger.

Hmm. So 49u node crashes kicking everyone out.
When node recovered, Shrike could do a mass logon with his capital ships and thus do a logon trap, as it is well documented that bob log in faster than anyone else. Props for not doing logon trap.
I liked hat shrike spent 3 hours fighting non stop. If it was goon titan, the goon titan would logoff while carrier repairs it till it dissapears.

Dude, get a grip, people crash and you know what its laggy/slow logging back in in large blobs. You break the node - you pay for it ;p.

If that's me you are talking about here, then i can say that statement is terribly wrong.
I can say why if that was to me. The reason is that the corp i was in didn't like what i did in the corp, also i was NPCing to much. So they had to find out a cheap way to get rid of me.
Today that is just a funny story, because it only shows how poor some corps can be to handle different players.
Anyways, why do alts always have to bring this up?, this is something that is soon to be 2 years old. If you have posted with your main (if you have the balls to do it), then i would probably take your words more seriously.

a) FYI the world is not flat, there are many timezones. That was christmas EVE for me (IIRC)
b) Yeah, my corporation headquaters aren't in that system or anything. You only wasted an hour of our time.

Another double standard. Goon dedicates his savings on GTCs for capitals and 6 hours a day to kill a BoB tower and that's an accomplishment. Awox logs in everyone now and then while watching a DVD for an hour to try to bag a freighter and he's a loser with nothing better to do..

Actually I was going for a hauler, which happened to be the blackbird's bait. You need to do some more reading up on the epic downing of Awox's Rokh in 2007. I suggest you contact Scavok directly.
As far as sitting in a low-sec system and reporting your gang in local... huh? I'm not the coalition with the multi-region "intel" channels. Maybe you should anchor more warp scrambling batteries to your G-QTSD POS too?

Titans primary role is to break up blobs.
Heres how it works.
Because a Remote repped titan requires a stupidly large number of people to kill, the system starts to get blobbed to all hell. The titans defenders then start blobbing the system with their guys. This then leads the attacker to blob further
The system hits blob overload and the server crashes, thus breaking up the blob.
Blob gone, mission accomplished. 3 cheers for CCPs cunning anti blob weapon!
