I note that posters will often include a quote from a post when posting their own reply. How do I do this?

Look just above the text for each poster and you will see a "Quote" button. Click on that.

Make sure you are logged in on the forums and press the "quote" button above the post you want to quote.

The 'quote' button will quote everything. If you want to follow good practice and only quote the relevant bit use your own metatags. If you look at the text that appears in the window when you click 'quote' it should be pretty obvious what to put in front of text and what to put at the end.
Similarly the emoticons and typographic changes can be determined by clicking the button and looking what appears in the text.
