ThunkMonkey wrote:So the question is how long before DRF wins EVE and everyone else in 0.0 gives up or quits.
The combination of CCP giving the North 95% of the tech moons, DRF running bots 24/7 and CCP turning a blind eye. DRF has unlimited isk and field's supper caps like everyone else fields Battle ships.
No, not mad just wondering when or if EVE will be fixed.
The players decide what happens in 0.0
If the players in 0.0 get tired of the DRF, they can ban together and remove them. If not, well then I guess DRF win or won depending on your point of view.

Actually the mistake was made years ago, way back when BOB was still around. People got so worked up over BOB they completely ignored the east. (wonder how that happened) The mistake was made then and continued till it was too late.
It was only a matter of time.
So now the NC Coalition has been replaced with another Coalition. It didn't have to go that way the players could have changed it.
It can even be changed today.
But the players built the ships and formed the coalitions not CCP. So the players can't blame everything on CCP. The players are as much to blame.
Just because you have a nuke that doesn't mean you have to use it.
flame on.

A super-ship that takes massive resources, effort and secure space will tend to enhance "older" powers in game and make it hard for new entrants into null-sec. So unsurprisingly it became a battle between those powers for who would come out on top. You could even say it was NC tech versus DRF drone minerals but now one coalition has both those resources.
Incidentally the super-capital parts of BoB are still around and doing rather nicely as Raiden (or in PL).
0.0 dwellers are real big about spouting risk versus reward and everything you do should have consequences. And CCP has stated over and over again how they make items and then find the plays do some totally different then what CCP expected.
No sorry but the players could have pulled the plug on there actions a long time ago. Instead they would prefer to abuse a toy till it breaks and then scream to daddy to come fix it.
I bet CCP was laughing there asses off as the NC fell thinking yup here we go again. Daddy's going to have to fix the toy yet again.
NC lost cause they where ripe for the picking. When the SOV changes came about and Razor only maintained SOV on the Stations... Well, I thought they wouldn't survive a month.

It's in CCP's interests to keep the toy interesting for as many players as possible, that's sort of where their paycheck comes from. But feel free to suggest there is a moral dimension in there if you like.
Moral's have nothing to do with it. CCP could have nerfed SC's when the numbers starting getting out of control but the players weren't complaining at that point.
I can just see it now. CCP - Yeh you all are getting out of hand with this whole building of SC's so we are just going to have to nerf them.
Yeh then you would have heard crying, more like screaming. No win situation, either let it play out and hope the players wake up or bite the bullet.
Hind site is always 20/20 maybe CCP should have left SC's as they were and let them die out all together. In the long run it might have been a better idea, even though the players where complaining about a useless ship.
At this point no fix will make everyone happy.
Maybe CCP should just destroy them all and put the pilots in the nearest station with the value of the ship in there pockets.
Or dock every last one in the nearest station. Then you can either reprocess them or undock and continue on in there new state.
People can decide what to do from there.
Either way it is going to come down to; If the players can't learn to play then daddy's going to have to step in and take away there toys.
