Although, i must say, sometimes i miss the early weeks in eve when fighting cruiser npc's and fitting out ships was a novelty still. I had a few good milestone years out of my time with EVE. 2003. - The game was fresh. Low Sec Empire Space had megacyte and zydrine bearing roids to get players started out with seed money. Lots of Pioneering and Exploration. The learning period for Player Piracy before Concord NPC's started patrolling Empire Space. The first NPC Pirate upgrade which brought normal gameplay to a grinding hault in 0.4 and below space. (They had to do a rollback, hehe.) 2005 - ...I think it was 2005 when they brought out the Control Towers and Corporations could finally start to claim sovereignty over 0.0 space....I remember this was an attempt by CCP to encourage more of the player base to venture out into 0.0 space. This started the beginning of a more concrete player infrastructure for mining and constructing operations as well as staging grounds for fleet battles. This was also a time of Alliance features coming into play. Everyone was still new and fresh and still tons of stuff to discover. 2008 might be a good year depending on what sort of patches we gonna get, tbh i'm looking forward to ambulation but i was also looking forward to trinity, which sadly impo has been a letdown tbh, sure some of the stuff is nice and new ships are always nice but overal i expected more from it. So i'm gonna try not to get so excited again. CCP, let us pay the online shop with Direct Debit!!! Magners is now recruiting, evemail me or Dagazbo ingame.

R0ADKILL	Posted - 2008.01.07 12:40:00 - [12] I think 2007 was the most fun yeahr after joining roadkill. invasion of mj- and ******* arround in teh drone region was the most thrilling thing ever. especially beacuse of frege, who played very nice and usualy didnt hesitate to give us target after target (at least as long as they had cloaks^^)

My few months of 2006 were spent as an empire newbie. Fun, but the game really took off for me when I made "the plunge".

Now i have played for 5 years straight. This means that i get the automatic right to whine about how bad everything is. Yes, CCP has given me permission do to this. So instead of quitting this game i just hang around the forums trolling and asking them if i can have their stuff when i really just should give mine away. But Im cool like that. Yes, 2003. Best year. Ever.
