Is it just me. Or does anybody else think that Bob's titan escaping positive doom due to "System Crash" is bull****. CCP really needs to stop abusing their power. And tell their damn game engineers to stop playing the ******* game. Its just simply not right nor fair.

tbh, not really, no.
afaik the fight was the normal "lets pour people into a huge ball and crash the nodes, just like we did last time, and the time before, and the time before that". large scale pvp is just rubbish on the current technology, tis all.

would be nice if ccp came up with an idea to make large scale (node breaking) fleet battles a disadvantage in terms of ability, so upto a certain point (which just happens to be what the node can deal with) you get a good reason to use numbers, but past that your better off splitting into smaller groups and attacking on diffrent fronts.
would solve these lagging tactics with noob ships or large scale fights of 500+ just ending up with a node death.
just an idea. - but the current model of "add people until we win, and hope the hardware copes" is a bit duff, because even if ccp make the nodes twice the capacity youll just get even more people in a single fight wondering why they cant log in.
