I've decided to see what went on in the EBANK channel since its members are making so many threads here, so I logged on and stopped by their channel. Immediately, I noticed all the familiar names you so often see in every single thread that praised EBANK. These are the same names you see defending any (including legitimate) criticisms of EBANK on every forum and post. The same names that scream that EBANK does not scam. What were they doing all together, I wondered. Whenever I read about EBANK, I see many people defending and praising it. I always thought these people were unrelated and came together only by coincidence to defend EBANK because they really had a successful experience with it and believed it was a genuinely good "corporation." Yet all these people were in the same channel together for some reason.
The channel, although contained only about 9 people, was in uproar. Every single person was throwing insult after insult. And these were not clever insults but something you'd hear in a 2nd grade lunch room. They all seemed to have ganged up on this one individual, questioning his sexual orientation, implications of prostitution, attacks on intelligence, references to fecal matter, and there was even a tattletale who threatened to report this individual to CCP for "offensive language," even though he himself was involved. As I watched this childish battle, I couldn't help but wonder how a corporation that sounds so professional and how its loyal supporters use such complex terminology to create such elaborate reports on forums, are reduced to 8 year olds who call people "****oo heads" when not in a public eye. I stayed there for about 10 more minutes and listened.
It seems that an individual that was on the receiving end of EBANK's verbal lashing was pleading to withdraw his earlier deposit of 50 million which was apparently taken by a person named Ricdic, who others in the channel claimed was in charge. This gullible individual who fell for EBANK's scam claimed he gave the 50 mil ISK to EBANK Ricdic who in turn promised to give it back with 3% interest the next day. When the next day came and newbie asked for a withdrawal, Ricdic supposedly told him that this was an expensive lesson and put him on block. And when newbie went to their channel to try to get his ISK back, EBANK laughed, threatening, and taunted him to a point the newbie gave up and left.
After the newbie left, EBANK celebrated with chants of "PWNT!" and "haha im so rich now." I asked them if they really scammed him and they said yes, and proceeded to give me a lecture on how it was legal to scam in EVE.

lol, the effort you went through is most admirable.
Now, would you mind providing names, times, dates, chat logs, etc etc. I ask this because I happened to be in the channel when a "newb" with the name of "seeking iskies" came in channel and claimed exactly what you are saying here. Of course I didnt see you in the channel at that time, so I am not sure how you asked if he was scammed and how you heard any confirmation of such a scam.
What you fail to mention is that there were multiple directors of evebank present at the time that this "newb" passed through, who tried to assist him both in channel and in private convo's. He failed to provide them with any of the basics that would help verify his claim. Such simple steps as a wallet screen shot or giving the directors his easily changed limited API code so that things could be verified.
As far as I am concerned, since I was in the channel when events similar to the ones portrayed occured, this accusation of yours is bovine scatology. I honestly didnt even see you in channel at that time, and trust me I pay attention to these things, so I wonder how you would even know that there was a "newb" making these claims, unless that "newb" was you.
Seriously, if you have real solid proof bring it forth, but otherwise go away.

I find it highly unlikely that our guys would be talking about pretty much anything mentioned in the OP. However I wasn't there so can't verify this. What I can verify is the rubbish spat forth about my "give you back 3% tomorrow".
I urge you to provide chat logs proving this. I am 150% certain this is a lie and as such invalidates your whole post in my eyes. Ufl I suggest you go and focus on your operation, or provide facts to back up your claims.
It's getting embarassing. For you.

It seems that Treelox was so busy bashing the newbie, he didn't even realize there were other people in the channel. What I find interesting is that every time somebody mentions something negative about EBANK, they are immediately referred to as "Ulf," who I learned from a reliable source worked with Ricdic on earlier scams, and that because of some disagreement they are now no longer partners in crime. What occurred, apparently, is that Ricdic and Ulf are now both competing against each other for victims using identical banking scam. Ricdic and his goons are trying to portray themselves as the legit ones and Ulf the scammer. Very dramatic, indeed, but in the end they are both scammers, and as a good citizen of Eve, I feel it is my duty to warn others of such mischief.

First of all this tells us nothing really. If the EBANK really wanted to scam they would do it all or nothing. None of this "50 million" stuff, I mean they have billions of isk, why risk everything over something so minor? Also, posts like this are also denied rather quickly because there is no proof given. I can say that I gave Vedz 500 billion isk that he failed to return to me  . However, I have yet to see one of these posts contain any screenshots or chatlogs that will validate (partially) what happened.

provide a chat log if you can? To do that, go to My Documents > EvE > Capture > Logs. It should be in a document with the channel name and the date after it.

Treelox will provide chatlogs to the issue in question, I wasn't online at the time. Now, to the OP please provide chatlogs proving the scenario in that I promised you/your friends/whatever a 3% return overnight on deposited isk as well as a screenshot showing your transaction logs.
This "seeking iskies" person has not contacted me via evemail in any way either, plus I have gone through both EBANK and personal journals and found zero reference to a payment made by this person.
Interestingly enough, a search in P&P doesn't even show this character which would indicate it has been biomassed.

Yeah ok I was bashing the newbie, terrible aint it. Anyways I was aware of the other people in the channel, I am in the habit of having my ppl in channel listing scrolled to the bottom. While it was scrolled to the bottom I only seem to remeber see "Ulecese" at the bottom of the list. Now unless you know a different alphabet, I believe that "Vedz" comes after "Ulecese".

For the rest of you I will include the total chat log from this conversation. The first two lines were from before I actually got in channel, and were PM'd to me soon after I arrived. I have included them because they provide context, but I wasnt there for them. Everything else after the normal evechat log channel indicators, I was present for. I had to zip the file, so that it wouldnt lose its formatting when it was uploaded to eve-files, its less than 7kb in size. Please remeber to support Chribba for the eve-files service and send him a buck or a quid when you get a chance.

I've never been to the EBank channels, nor do I have any intention of ver doing so. They're my competitors - so gracing them with my presence wouldn't be in my interests. That said, I'd still far rather invest in them than in you - irrespective of any juvenile chat which occurs in their channel. Make of that what you will.
I really dislike defending EBank. I mean really :)
But they've delivered on what they promise - and appear to have a plan. You've delivered nothing and appear to have no plan beyond alienating every possible investor you could get. Sorry - but they win. EBank are my competitors, you're just some mouthy upstart with no track record. i was also a mothy updtart with no track record a while back (as were EBank). Are you going to progress beyond that to being a real force in the market? My money's on no.
I'm MORE than happy to attack EBank when I see (or perceive) them fall short - but this is just ludicrous. I'll be honest and admit that having EBank around actually helps me - and I suspect the same is true for them: having a credible competitor who you can differentiate your own service from adds value to the market as a whole. You lack credibility - and value.
I feel dirtied returning from the pub and making a post to defend EBAnk - but your efforts leave me little choice. Nothing Ebank has done suggests they are a scam.: I'm confident their directors aren't alts of one another. And I have FAR more than you to gain if they were demonstrably rip-off artistes. But they aren't. Now don't construe that as meaning I somehow guarantee them - I don't. But attacking their credibility when your own credibility lies somehwere between paper-thin and non-existent is going to do you no good.
Make your own judgment about MY credibility: it'll have zero effect on my business whatever you decide.

Pay attention to the timestamps of every post here. Notice the gap between their first response and when they decided to post logs. Keep in mind that log is a simple text file that can be easily manipulated with Notepad. Also notice the immediate obligatory EBANK praise from a shill with their same long and boring lies.

I can verify and vouch for Treelox, I don't log chat but I know I was there and so were several others.
Sure there was insulting going on because the "newbie" who biomassed btw... Seeking iskies was causing all sorts of trouble.
CCP please STOP this mayhem, trolling is against EULA and I would like to see it stop ingame as well.

to be honest the log was unfavourable towards EBANK. but now since you mentioned it, maybe its made up.
also while i agree that EBANK are being defended almost religiously. You have not provided any chat log or any evidence to support your claim.
All your claims are unverified and unsuported. If you dont like EBANK i suggest you create a chatlog of "conversation" you had with ricdic etc. and then use that as "evidence". while im sure the great majority of MD will defend EBANK, at least you will have something to fall back on and i get to lulz.
ps. if you really really hate ebank just give them 500m and then they will have to give you money.

Wow....
I wish I was quick enough to do a 10,000char conversation log from scratch in an hour, with the ability to keep +7 different characters seperate in my head. Hell if I could do that I would walk the Writers Union Picket lines and go write some jokes for Jay Leno's monologue tonight, since his studio is just over the hill.

What's funny is that I see you on every EBANK thread constantly attacking and calling people "Ulf." What I find sad, however, is that I don't see your little friend. She tends to flatter me with her persistent stalking. Her name begins with a D, yes?
