Is it possible this sola event (CCP putting a stop to it) was brought about to break a stale mate that was going to rummble on for ever. I would put money on the BOB Titan being saved and given a new name only to show up againg another day. 9 out of 10 cat owners prefer whiskers

I said more then enough times already, but will say it again.
Majority of ppl in this game have lack of brain cells, ergo this many numbers showing for killing something that is immposible to kill as soon as they try to jump in me, myself and I ------> |

Wow... this is just stupid. When they had the chance to actually kill a Titan, they send in so many ships that they crash the node instead of sending in waves. 1:9 is just overkill.

This explains why the node crashed.
Get some professionalism. BoB has it. I hear MC rents it out in return for isk.
On January fifth, you could have killed a Titan if you'd managed to acquire some.

ahaha. You know. I almost wonder if thats how certain alliances conduct warfare. As their members happily browse the parent forum giggling at fart videos and fapping to furries a topic like that pops up and everyone logs into eve and runs as fast as they can to the system.

Whats even funnier is that you brought it to the attention of everyone that you screwed yourselves and lost a titan kill. These aren't flames its laughter.

I fight against BoB and I have to say that if the numbers posted on this thread 800-100 are accurate, then its the goons own fault for the titan surviving. 2-1, heck even 3-1 odds are considerably more than enough overkill.
Everyone who's been in a few battles of similar scale knows the game is reduced to lag and node crashes, encouraging it by taking such overkill in the form of so many numbers is just poor commanding from the FC and/or discipline from the pilots involved.
To turn around and then blame CCP for the crash is just stupid, sure its not good that we can't have 1000 ships fighting each other, but everyone knows the score, and shouldn't be complaining when they go out of their way to make it happen.

So what if tinfoil?
CCP/BoB did everything they did, they made their bed, and I can't shed tears for them having to lie in it.
RAGoons are just as much to blame for rewarding BoB with entertaining PvP as a reward for unparalleled cheating.
It's not like node crashes are actually any better than orchestrated cheating anyway. Whatever your standpoint, the root is that CCP suck and refuse to stop sucking.

Must've been the shortest nodecrash ever. Usually they stay down 5 - 10mins, this one was back up in 5 secs.

Titan going down, system get's flooded by killmail and glory *****s.
Oh dear, the system can't take it no more.
Node dies, no more tinfoil.
Nothing to do with CCP, it's the player's gank mentality that "lost" them the kill. Duncan Bannatyne

Nah, I guess it is time to confess.
CCP are on our side. They crashed the node to save our titan and cap ships. They also cheat to ensure we continually gain space, stations, outposts, and allies. That is why we are on top of Eve; why all our enemies have fled back to Empire, and why all our systems now contain officer spawns and the best roids.
Yeah, you got us dead bang to rights, I'll come quietly officer.

Someone needs to sit their conmmanders down and have a little talk about strike force numbers. Say send in the 2 to 1 odds ships and if they fail then send in another wave and another until there is no enemy left. But hey then a real fight might happen and we can't have that now can we.

what gets me is this statment,
Quote: As more ships were preparing to join the assault, what is believed to be an unexplained solar event occurred that instantly caused all ships in the system to suffer an electrical malfunction, resulting in them disengaging and leaving the battlefield. Some ships, including Shrike's Avatar did not return, putting an end to the bulk of the fighting.
so was the Titan just removed back to its home system or did it go Boom? History is written by the Victors, but i dont know anyone called victor |

BoB bringing in reinforcements to save the titan is what crashed the node. If they hadn't rushed in more pilots to save it, besides all the caps with dozens of fighters each, the node would have held. They saved it by overloading the node.

Nodecrash != servercrash
Usually when a node crashed you can log back in straight after the crash. If you get in the system is another story (300peeps trying to get in at teh same time... you know the story ;) )
but however.. itŠs easier to say that BoB / CCP / Whoever crashed the node to save shrike, instead of using the things called "brain".
The servers canŠt handle such large scale engagements. heck they cant even handle a 50 vs 50
end of story

And with the awesome dps your pilots are displaying I don't think you were trying to do it either. Don't get me wrong I understand the whole 'swarm' thing but ffs can't you at least have the 'swarm' bring a t1 frig with some t1 guns instead of the nub ship?

The node crashed shortly after MC jumped their capfleet in to the system.
