Wait I missed it. Say it again?

Originally by: Empyre goons are just a consistent force of mediocrity with some more powerful allies and a taste for rudeness and chest-beating. only thing i think i can ever agree with them on is that bob brought everything that has happened upon themselves.
pendulums swing in two directions but i think eve has one that moves in multiple dimensions. i don't think anyone can predict what happens next, but isn't that one of the many reasons we keep playing?
Tell us more of this multi-dimensional pendulum?

Originally by: Althair Erin This was a pretty amusing theory. What bothers me is that any scrap of evidence can not be shown because of mysterious issues. I'm sure there's a way to share this 'proof' without one on one contact. Put everything out in the open for us to see!
What I really like about this theory is that we are actually in the process of putting it to the test. If BoB does lose all of their conquerable space, this theory has been proven wrong. It's actually extremely refreshing to see something on CAOD that can be tested for accuracy.
Althair is the king imo.

Well, honestly, you are wrong. Goons assisted in the initial destruction of KOS, then V, and then LV, and not that RA couldn't have killed off all of that garbage heap alone, but goons were assisting since the beginning of their comeback. Granted the goons have alot of credit to send RA's way, but they were there to help from the start.
Filthy lies. Goons have done nothing of note. Furthermore,

Bud pls do not get me wrong id say no other alliance is better for taking space than GOONS its the place to be without a doubt if thats all you care about, but the fact is that all that takes is numbers and some times those numbers work against you as the titan fight the other night showed.
Skill and timing while outnumbered from 3 to 5-1 and walking away after wasting a lot of the enemy and losing maybe a dictor and some times not even that is the biggest buzz eve has to offer.
We don't care about winning or losing we only do it for the good fights.

I don't know what you mean. I read mostly "hi-fives" and "good fights" and "props to our enemies."

Originally by: Althair Erin Yeah the other day was pretty exciting! I mean it was like, I logged in and heard about what was going down and ZOOM! Rushed to get in on the action, but hit a wall of lag that just wouldn't budge! It was still cool hearing from those who had gotten in. For our front-line reporters I salute you, but speaking of front line reporting...
Was it really okay for ISD to report on what was going on real-time like that? I mean, it just seems kind of wrong to give out tactical information to all of EVE. Regardless of tactical value, it leads to more people rushing in to watch the fight, like people coming out to have picnics and watch battles during the United States Civil War. Wouldn't all those incoming spectators only increase the lag? And the lag was so bad it ended up ruining the fight for everyone.
I can't imagine anyone actually taking pure pleasure in victory through lag. What a sad thought :( I know that I personally want nothing more from combat than smooth performance. And those alliances who currently oppose us have said many times that they desire straight up epic fire fights. Lag undercuts that tremendously doesn't it?
Win or lose, if it looks great it was worth it to me. I couldn't even get near the fun to win or lose anything though! Unfortunately the lag is just so darn bad now you can hardly seem to do anything when you get a couple dozen ships together much less hundreds!
And again to the OP, don't you personally find it interesting we are in the process of testing your hypothesis right at this very moment?
METAstic!

I must admit I'm pretty disappointed at how far IAC have allowed themselves to roll over and have their tummy tickled. Once upon a time you were an anarchic, unpredictable force that brought a bit of comedy to the Eve universe. Now you seem to have your heads fully lubricated and aligned for insertion into unknown Goon territory.
I know it's like your 2 alliances like eachother?!?! WTF this does not compute.
