Edited by: Scarlet Maximus on 08/01/2008 16:52:37 Looking in to 2 Huginn setups, would like some input on it, what it boils down to is what rigging would be most beneficial in a small fairly fast moving gang situation
Setup 1 looks like this: Highs - 3 Dual 180 2's, 3 Arby Heavy Launchers Mids - MWD, T2 point, 2x LSE II's, 2x T2 web Low - 2x Overdrive II, I-stab II RIGS - 2x Polycarbon This setup is my current setup minus the rigs (as I havent yet decided) and I was able to take 3 guys down in a [crappy] gatecamp a few days ago by myself before getting asploded. With the rigs I'd have a much better transversal as well as much greater ability to quickly escape sour situations
Setup 2 looks like this: Same Highs Mids - MWD, T2 point, 2x LSE II's, 1x T2 web, 1x T2 Sensor Booster w/ Target Speed ARM Lows - i-stab, nano, overdrive RIGS - Targeting System Subcontroller, Polycarbon (or heck maybe 2x Subcontrollers) Basically what I'm getting out of this build is sacrificing webbing ability for the ability to quickly lock down the fast movers that always seem to get away from our HAC/Recon gang for a sacrifice in speed.
Let me know what y'all think!

It say use the first and have your gang bring along some inties.
But if you want to be the Heavy Tackler that's fine too.
Polycarbons are sexy, I hate buying them but they are worth it.

Was actually looking at the falloff rigs, sadly the PG penalty would totally screw up my build so I have to avoid them :( The price of Polycarbs are definitely a major factor

IMO, 2 webs are neccessary to get those fast movers to slow down quick enough. I wouldn't bother with the sensor booster unless you are camping. And if you can get a gangmate to remote sensor boost you even better.
If you must fit a sensor booster on the huginn, I would drop one of the LSEs as I would be in a camp with the booster and therfore probably have gang mates to help.
Just my thoughts.

Thats a very good thought, it would probably be a good idea to get an inty to roll around in our gang, sacrificing a web is a very tough thing for me to do, it was like somebody shot my dog when I took it off to play around :P

setup one is the winner in my opinion bar one mod, personaly i shove a PDS II instead of an istab, this setup combined with a snake set is pwn.
Perfection.

I am finding that on this particular ship the polycarbs dont give me enough speed to get away from anything I couldnt get away from without it.
so I am running low slots, od2 X2 dc2 and rigs kin resist and therm resist
works our pretty good ship does 3k+ I think with 9k shields and decent resists.
