Then why exactly is it that you're war dec'ing newbie industrial corporations in high sec? Honest question.

Edited by: Exlegion on 09/01/2008 12:38:50 To OP:
Join iMune Empire (alliance). Contact Ashley Sky. Lay low for a while to avoid being ganked by other war targets. Let willing PVP'ers confront them. You'll force this corporation to pay high costs in isk for their war. And if they're low on isks (as they say they are) the war won't last long. And they'll also be forced to either fight other PVP'ers or dock themselves. Good luck.
Edit: If you decide to take this path, please post your results as I'm very interested in knowing the success of iMune Empire.

Standard merc twaddle.
Maths goes like this, you get ransomed for 100 million. You pay, you get left alone. or You pay 300 million for mercs, and then you need to pay them next week too, and the week after, and the week after.
The "don't ever pay these types of people" attitude really plays well into standard loser attitude, really the protectioneers need to think up a sales patter that plays into loser attitude, the marketting department sucks.
The only time anybody should ever pay a merc is as a very last resort when there is genuinely no other way out of the situation that you cannot achieve by any other means, like if you need a lowsec POS dropping in less than an hour, and you don't do capitals.
When my corporation was starting up we were war dec'd by a pirate corp who presented your spin on things. My CEO ended paying the ransom to save the corp from slaughter at the hands of a more powerful pirate corp in high sec. The following week we were war dec'd by 3 (yes, THREE) pirate corps all requesting ransom as well .
I bet you don't consider your spin
