I just got my first solo kill. I have soloed many times before, and killed many times before, but I have never killed while I have soloed, and I have never killed as a pirate.
I did have a near first kill, when I was fighting a 1vs1 duel in low-sec, I almost got, and he barely got me. He was in a Rifter and I was in Incursus. He would have flat out murdered me if it wasn't for my repper, but my armour held up long enough for me and him to hit hull at the same time. After the fight, the rifter warped somewhere and I got a killmail, claiming I laid the final blow. However considering that I was in a pod at that time, while he was somewhere else, I don't consider that my first kill.
I also had a few fights with a destroyer in high-sec, where I stole some loot from him and got him to agress me. I soon figured out that I couldn't tank him long enough to kill him, and I warped out. I asked one of my corpmates to meet me, while I kept warping in and out at the belt getting him to agress me while I hit him before warping back to the station, but just as my corpmate came back, the destroyer warped out.

This is my first real kill. after having finished training Hull upgrades level 2, I fitted my incursus with a cap injector, scram and web, Tech 2 blasters, repper and 200mm plate.
After fitting it I decieded to cause some trouble in high-sec, and took my frig to a astroid belt. There I flipped a bunch of ore (about 50k veldespar or so) from several miners, and waited. Not before long I saw several drones come out and a miner agressed me. Since I didn't have my overview set up to include drones I was pretty helpless so I warped back to station to put drones on my overview and repped my ship before warping back. When I came back to the system I saw a brutix of the same corp, also blinking red waiting for me, so I warped out and came back at 70km. While I was waiting at 70km, a incursus from the same corp zoomed in at me, and engaged me. I engaged him back, scrammed and webbed him, while I hit my guns. For me solo-fighting is much more exiting than fleet battles, since it is just you and him, and one little mistake can screw it all up, so my heart was pretty much in my throat. I popped the guy just as I went into hull, scooped most of the interesting loot and warped to the station before the brutix could get me.
All in all, I am very statisfied with my first pirate kill, may there be many more.
