So, there we were attacking a war target POS in a high security system. All was going well, the POS was at 50% shields, everything was going smoothly. My guns reloaded for the one billionth time and I f1-f6'ed. Unfortunately, I hadn't had the tower selected at that brief time. No, I'd instead had a gang mate selected for whom I had just finished remote repping. This gang mate was not in Mafia. He was in another corporation that was also at war with our targets. It didn't hit me at first and I just switched my guns over to the tower.
Luckily it didn't take long to realise what had happened when full force mayhem stormed in - in the form of concord - and started laying down the pain. My gang mates seeing my armor in trouble and not realising the events that were unfolding began remote repping me. Apparently concord didn't much like that and so started on them too. The other gang mate seeing the guy remote repping me start taking damage, started remote repping him, starting a colossal chain reaction of horrible concordokken death.
If this ever gets repeated by anyone, I'm sure a new phrase will be coined: 'Pulling a Gallant Nose'

First, much respect to Gallant Nose for posting this!!! It was one of my alliance's POSes that he and his mates were attacking, and I was 75km off the forcefield in a cloaked Buzzard enjoying the display of fireworks and pondering on whether the owner of the POS had put any strontium into the bay (he hadn't  ). No, I did NOT have FRAPS running, sigh.
I really had no clue what was happening or why when the Concord fleet warped in, so it is nice to get some clarification. You guys wouldn't have any luck at all if it wasn't for the Bad Luck! In a few seconds a Raven, a Tempest, and a Dominix all went Ka-boom and what looked like a bad day for the alliance turned into an accidental triumph as MAFIA and TDSK snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. The respite gave us time to better arm and fuel the POS and taught us a good lesson in being prepared.
Y'all come back now, y'hear?

The bug isn't about CONCORD activation - CONCORD acted appropriately. They responded when the OP engaged his guns against a non war-target/non-outlaw. They also responded correctly when everyone else started aiding a criminal by remote repping the OP.
The bug is in the lack of notification to the OP before his guns activated that he was about to engage in a criminal activity. Although I have a strong suspicion that all the remote repping going on caused that notification to be disabled for one reason or another...

This is so funny...well at least for me i was in the same gang but at a safespot (cloaked) since i went to sleep and was Zzzzing when this happend.
Cate Wolf in MAFIA called me at work the day after and explained what happend and told me i might not have any ship left when i log back on.
So i logged on 10min ago and, well my ship was intact.
A sidenote here is that before all this happend i was making jokes about getting concordokken due to a bug when we where pounding the pos.
Those in MAFIA that lost ships will be refunded for some isk from corp wallet, we have a ehum "accident" account for stuff like this called "Drulle f÷rsSkring".
