Goons have won the war. It was them vs BoB.
Sure some others tagged along, but Goons won the battles, did the best, and take all the credit.
They are the new best in EVE.

This is what I find so interesting about the Goons/ BOB conflict.
In the process of taking out the evil oppressors "BOB" Goons has become "BOB".
They currently control more territory and have more numbers then any other Alliance in the game
So now the Goons essentially are the evil oppressors.
Not that this is a new story.
It has happened many times in EVE before.
So what will the Goons do now as the evil is within ?
Almost the entire community hated Goons before this, they will eventually remember why. It's quite a testament to BoB that they became so much more hated that Goons that people seem to have forgotten this.
I must say I have to admire and respect people who have consistently hated goons since the beginning times and still do now.
Goons were well liked and generally had a good public opinion until quite a bit after XZH.

I disagree. Let me refresh your memory a bit. Remedial, FirstName LastName.
What about them? The general community was pretty fond of Goonfleet in those days. Remedial and FNLN had a few fanboys who hated their guts (and with good reason...).

Name any group or provide some evidence that anyone outside of a very small minority ever liked goons prior to XZH.
Yeah man im just gonna go dig up some internet research to back up my forum statements, brb.
There was no reason to dislike Goons before BOB declared war, and they became forum warriors. They were just an underdog group who made funny photoshops and flash movies.
Ofc Goons have always had a huge amount of bitters in their alliance, people just didnt know yet.
