Also, I agree, it's a little silly that it's so hard to tell the difference. It's the same with the Navy Apoc as well, without a side by side comparison it's difficult to tell which is which. Pretty lame.

Did they fudge it when they redid the gallente textures?
The vindi rats still look like they should, afaik.

Anyways, I agree with one sentiment that the Navy Mega doesn't look that cool anymore. I also agree, the Vindicator is lacking in phear as well.
Navy Mega has these gray hi-lights, I think it should be flat black with silk black high lights, and the Vindicator should be flat black with dark gold hi-lights.

I've disabled mine and not going back... awful performance on anything over 20vs20
On the subject... I agree, the vindicator doesn't look as speshul as it once did.
Not to mention that with current navythron prices, I'm thinking of getting 2 for one vindi to use in fleetfights

mm funny my OLD for current standards Athon X2 4200 was runnign at 37 fps in the 49-u battle other day with about 600 ships in the gate with about 300 mores wrrecks around me.. all in the enhanced GFX contents.

I do believe that the vindi and the mega should have different skins. Actually, I think that they need to make a whole new ship set for the serpentis ships(frig/cruiser/bs) just so they can look awesome like they should. While they are at it, some guristas ships could use new models, and the blaag should get a new model as well. after all, it needs one like the cruor and ashimmu...
