i checked the ship fitting section but no ibis records are in there.. what should i put on a ibis to make it battle ready? and what rigs as well.. any help will be apprecated ^_^

There's only one way to fit an Ibis if you're not under a week or two old:
in the trash.

Velators are pwn, 2x ion II blasters, nub shieldbooster, nanofiber/whatever and 2x hobgoblin II's, it will pwn any other nubship. Concerning rigs, how about nanofibers?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you cannot rig noobships, they have only 1 calibration.
And, yes the Velator is the uberest noobship in the game.

no way dude. fit it like this:
1 x 125mm II w/ iridium
1 x 75mm II w/spike
named mwd
overdrive injector II
2 x hobgoblin II
This baby does about 2km/s. not cap sustainable, but you can mwd around a fair bit and hit from 16km or so. I've never lost a noobship duel in this, and have even killed a few t1 friggies with it. 
yes, here in TRI we even nanofit our noobships. 
Can i be a Paper Panther? same as a Paper Tiger but with alliteration to boot

How to get your Ibis ready for battle.
Right-click it, select "leave ship", and go fit out a real ship.
