The list of these enemies who have lined up to destroy us is almost endless. And yet, many of their names are now forgotten, their achievements reduced to dust, whilst PIE continues. Preliminary surveys among the new retirees suggest that we prefer blowing up large, expensive ships, so please bring many of those and leave them parked unattended in easily-accessible locations; pilots are optional, but some of our new retirees enjoy shooting pods as well, so take this into account. We promise we will make full use of the retirement you have gracefully bestowed upon us to destroy all the ships you endeavor to send. Surely there is no finer way to spend retirement! I'm looking forward to this brief foray into retirement. So, I repeat, do not disappoint us. Please send ships!

But if they are unwilling to relinquish the ships they have promised us, we are perfectly happy to take them by force and destroy them that way. After all, they offered us this ship-destruction-filled retirement, so they have a deal to live up to! Besides, Electus Matari wouldn't be so afraid to fight us if we couldn't get kills any other way. grins

Your "victory" will be empty and devoid of honor. There are other ways to gauge a "victory" other than ship kills. Naqam has another agenda and we will dictate the terms of our own victory. There is no "victory" for PIE in this conflict.
