I started to count how many times your tattoo guy/gal shaded over the outline, got to about 15 and stopped, too many to bother counting them all. The ears are awful, especially the left one. Thankfully it's still salvagable though. When that's healed up, I recommend finding a GOOD tattoo artist to fix it. Most artists don't like fixing other peoples **** ups though, so be nice :) It's not half as bad as some I've seen, but it will look a whole lot better once it's fixed.

For those who moan about the tattoo or tattoo's in general:
Its our bodies and we can do what we want with it. The knowledge that a tattoo is for life means that you really do consider what you want on your skin. I have 4 tattoo's + writing, the wife has 3. Im a cartoon nut, I just love Warner Bros toons and therefore my tattoos reflect this. Animaniacs and Marvin the Martian (with K9) FTW! and the names of all my kids plus DOB's I dont put on tattoos for YOUR pleasure but for my own. Dont like them? Then dont look ya nosey g!t.
I WOULD have the Guristas bunny as it looks damn evil but theres no real decent tattoo artists here. So, Well done to the OP, it aint as bad as some are saying. After it has healed have another look and if it needs touching up get it done.

Im sorry but I have to agree I find it sad getting a Tattoo of a computer game, and most 'normal' people would find it at least a little weird.
That said, its his leg, so if he wants a giant mario on it then its up to him. Wouldnt get too offended by people taking the **** out of you though as youll have to get used to that for the rest of your life.

cool, seen these a few times now.
the gallente logo would be cool to tat, but the resemblance to a certain countrys flag would mess it up. (romanian eagle? iirc)

the bunny logo is pretty cool, and I so agree with this. The artist who did this should be shot.
Grats on the logo, and I hope you can find a tattoo artist who can fix it up once it heals. __________________

loads of studios put clingfilm on a new tat, to protect it whilst its still a fresh. you're supposed to take it off 30mins-1hr later and wash it with warm water.
edit. OP, that tat is ok. shading can be gone over as often as you like. i'd be interested to see that tats of the people calling yours crap.
besides - i've got some ******* stunning tatoos, some utterly terrible ones. i love them all equally. your body, innit.

Actually i'm thinkin for a long time to use the TRI eagle as a pice of a tatoo, its going to cover my shoulder, part of my back and left chest.

once a tattoo is set the skin is cleaned from blood and ink then it is covered with a very tiny layer of oinkment(sorry for my spelling) and then covered with a shrink wrap...after a few hours u can wash it off gently with water(no soap!!!!) after that your new tattoo has to heal a few days (can take up to 12 days for a larger tattoo)
to the op...your tattoo is looking great take good care of it the next few days...and remember not to touch the scabs that form the next days or u will damage the tattoo....(white spots)
Heh wish my tattooist had told me this i had to get the tatto done twice as some of the scabs came off and left white spots in the middle of my tatt
least the one ion my back i couldnt reach to pick at scabs, wht can i say i cant help it

the tattoo artist should always mention this...he will also mention before he/she starts how it all goes to work.... after he/she is done tattooing he will mention the procedure of the taking care of your new tattoo in the next few days...
he will tell u or he will give u a list with how to take care of it
most artists will also mention that if u get white spots or something else within 3 weeks that u can return to him/her and he/she will recolor/shade/etc for free!...note this doesnt apply for all tattoo artists since not every artist does this the artist doesnt have to give u that but a good artist will always do it
best would be to always ask before u get it done so u know that u get the quality u want...

I love the guristas bunny image and think it looks great as a tatoo, mainly since it's very unlikely anyone is going to actually recognise it (but think it's cool anyway). Those tattoos of the four races however would really, really scare me A skull-bunny is symbolic and could mean anything - a spaceship is uh... a spaceship

Aside from my comment of this community, im sorry to say this dude but your tattoo artist kinda sucks. For such simple work he has done such a poor job, I know its healing, I know how it looks when healing/just done but that looks really poor. sorry dude.
dont be offended b/c i think people like you are losers...its my opinion and im entitled to it...you dont like it, dont read my posts.
There's a difference between an opinion and an attack. Plus how the hell can someone not read your posts not as if anyone looks at the name first than chooses to read. Sorry but alt crap like you is ruining the forums. Personally there is nothing wrong with the guristas tatoo's because no-one knows it's eve and frankly it's a nice looking symbol. Could make up some story about it being your platoon's symbol back in 'Nam.
Seeing as how you've actually created an alt (put them in an alt corp just to post on forums) tells me that your kinda the one who need's to get out more. --------

Hey methodomo, I'm seriously considering the skullbunny for my next artwork. I'd like your frank honesty as a professional.
I currently sport one piece of art, please consult, fifth image from the left, top row. "Crescent and V-Rod (arrow)". I got it a dozen-odd years ago, when we didn't have such accurate pictures available to US people on the internet. Also, the art was rendered in a rather liberal interpretation of the mock-up I provided. I mean, I ended up with Fleur de lis where I should have had arrow parts on the top of my crescent. So very wrong for that art.
Anyway, my main concern is how to be confident that my chosen artist, who I am obviously not familiar with, will be able to render the image properly.
I am considering any of three local shops. My intent is to stop by each, drop a twenty to the artist for his honest time, show him my current art and explain my dissatisfaction, and see what he has to say. Is this a proper way to treat with a tattoo artist?
Also: The proposed skullbunny will go high on my left upper arm. High enough to be covered by a tee-shirt. I'm not a beefy fellow, though I am toned. But since it's mid-winter, and work is slow, I'm neither beefy nor toned right now. If I do four weeks of benchwork, I'll gain way more circumference before I get my normal tone back. Which will look better in the long run: an artwork on a large upper arm that will shrink down later (but not that much), or a work on a currently flabby arm that will later be better toned and only a little bigger?

Putting people into categories is the worst form of humanity.
If you enjoy something . You dont have to feel bad about it just because you think there is some invisible social norm that you feel you should follow. People who folow such norms are usually insecure and unsure of them selves (Am I putting ppl into categories by saying that?? ). If some one dislikes a game tattoo or tattoos overall it'he's problem (the problem is in he's head) and not yours.
Art in all it's forms is personal / social way of expression. So dont limit your self, do what you want.

what u should do is visit em and tell them what happened in the past and ask if they can fix it...90% of the tattoo's that have/had a misstake in them r fixable
your local tattoo artist will always handle your questions and try to help u out
as for the bunny that u want on your arm...your skin will always be flexible meaning as soon as u start to grow it will expand if u get smaller or fatter the skin reacts and so will your tatto but hardly noticable...the artist knows exactly how to handle your skin..i.e flubby or tight...4 weeks of training wont buff u up that much so it will not matter...
it never hurts to ask.....always ask what ever comes to mind and u will get your awnsers

Very welcome. I'd like to see the finished product when it's all done. As Ry Ry said above, if your tattoo artist is worth his salt, he will reshade for you without you having to hassle him. I would make sure he redoes the outline on the ears, since he shaded over it quite a bit, especially on the left like i said. The face is pretty good, but will need to be filled in at some point so its consistant overall. Being colorblind, the light spots and overshading on the ears stand out to me already, and they will only stand out more once its healed. Same with the undershading on the face. To get it uniform, its prolly gonna end up having to be really dark. Anyway, it's not bad, it just needs a little work to get it to the point where you stand in front of a mirror giggling like an idiot :P
Oh, and dont listen to people who get on you for your tattoo, its your ink and your body, nobody is forcing them to look at it! :)
