tattoo of a game that will be gone in the next decade :s, sorry I find it pointless. And not pretty, something as permanent as a tattoo should at least have some (deep) meaning. Like for example, a symbol/picture representing courage, honor, sense of duty and what not. But thats just me. Your skin, do as you please.

I've got the NERV logo from Evangelion on my right arm, Love the logo, anime, and TBH it remind's me of a very special point in my life that i'd never forget! even when i'm 80

as a tattoo artist myself i've seen alot of eve tattoo's
i actually had 2 costumers that wanted a tattoo related to eve-online
to be honest there r some very nice eve related tattoo's around
even i have one...
not sure if anyone has a such a large eve tattoo as me but as the op it looks great
the bleeding is normal when its just been made it will stop as soon as u wash for the first time...your leg is easyer to wash then my back :P
i have a complete fleet battle tattooed there covering my entire back :)
almost all ships r in there exept for the titan class ones since back then we didnt have titans...
1 tip: never put up a tattoo because u think its cool and everyone has one....do it only if u want it for 100%...

I think the skullbunny is a nice motive. DonŠt care if its in a game or not it just looks cool. Same with the minmatar-logo if you like tribal-style.
Nobody on the street will ask:"OMG, is this the thing from ze internetspaceships?!", because not much people will recognize it as what it is.

I dunno. EVE has at least as many players as ever, possibly more, and even got a graphics upgrade. Graphics upgrades are massively rare in the MMORPG industry, and sorely needed in some cases (Anarchy Online, anyone? Anyone?).
Ultima Online is still running, and so is Everquest, AFAIK. So is Jumpgate, at least for now.
Plus, EVE has no competition from anyone yet as far as space sim MMORPGs go (unless you count Vendetta Online, ROFL).

Even older mmos than UO are still around.
Really, in the mmo world there is not much precedent for games getting closed down unless they never really 'took off' in the first place. Once a games 'made it', it stays.

They use it because it covers the tat, lets people still see it, and doesn't stick to the scabs. Standard practice.

the wraps r used to protect your tattoo from filth and bacterias.....logical since a fresh tattoo is a wound...and no u dont put badages on it or it will stick to the skin when the blood dryes up
once a tattoo is set the skin is cleaned from blood and ink then it is covered with a very tiny layer of oinkment(sorry for my spelling) and then covered with a shrink wrap...after a few hours u can wash it off gently with water(no soap!!!!)
after that your new tattoo has to heal a few days (can take up to 12 days for a larger tattoo)
to the op...your tattoo is looking great take good care of it the next few days...and remember not to touch the scabs that form the next days or u will damage the tattoo....(white spots)

Please tell me you were being ironic in calling that a proper tattoo. That's nearly as bad as a the huge starwars montage tatoo.
I wouldn't get one, but if your married why not? The guristas bunny is easily the least dorky symbol you could take out of eve for a tattoo as well, I doubt it would ever get recognised.

well, tbh, the gurista bunny is about the only thing from eve you can perm on your skin without looking like a complete dork...
for instance i feel sorry for that guy with the 4 races chicks on his back (and to whoever said, he wont get laid again: there is always pity sex, alocohol and money) nut mainly because it looks crap. he didnt even catch the faces right :( but mabye that guy tattooed himself... then it would be okay
only reason i wouldnt get that bunny is because everybody that gets an eve tatoo will get that bunny. tattoos seem to be a nice exercise in "individuality".. makes you see youre not special and 10 people before you had ther same idea.

I have lots of tattoos. They have pretty significant meaning to me, and are based on things that happened to me in my life. They aren't of video games, bands, or television shows. Things that in 25 years won't matter at all to me anymore.
Things that I won't be embarrased to tell my kids about.
"Um... well when daddy was young... I uhhh... played this really cool video game."
That's all I'll say about the issue.

Why?.. And besides a skullbunny wont be linked to EVE-Online right away - hell even I! thought of getting one - and all my friends (who don't know what eve is  ) thinks its awesome cool..

I think that if the OP likes it, that is all that matters. Besides if the game disappears in a decade (which I hope not) then the tatto won't be tied to a video game any more.

congratulations on your tatoo i hope it was everything you wished it would be.
if you reconsider in the future, you should know that there currently are some methods to remove atleast 90% visibility of the tatoo.
1. is offcourse laser, which can result in some scarring.
2. is dermasal which does not need surgery.
there will probably also in the future be developed methods to clear tatoos more efficiently, but it's good for you to know that there are fortunately allready methods developed to do this in case you should change your mind in the future.
so with that said, i hope your happy with your tatoo.

Agreed with OP, and some. Get a tat because you like it. Screw anyone who judges you because of it, if they wouldnt do it to their body, whoopee for them. I think it looks cool. That is first pic, WITH the saran wrap still on it, everyone needs to ease off.

I want to shoot that tattoo artist, seriously if your going to do it, pay to get it done right, that guy FAILED at capturing the pictures from which those tats were taken.
also, if your gonna get one the Gurrista's is the coolest and also the easiest to actually make into a tattoo.
