ok this thread is full of speculation and lol,
perhaps i can shed some light on this as it seems ka-tet are remaining quiet as is best in smack threads like this.
DMC was picked out as the next target after frege for pewpew about 5mins before frege died, i did this myself..
then i resigned my position as the leader of ka-tet due to RL commitments so this plan was mothballed. now when PURE attacked DMC the idea i believe came around again but then RA declared their support for DMC. which mothballed it again......
now ka-tet had a problem, it does (contrary to popular belief) have pvp'rs in its ranks, the best i feel are T.DK
now if anyone nows Nuker their CEO and i do he is after some fun and pvp and all of that needs to be close....i guess he gets bored pressing "jump"
so nuker pushed for PvP within the ranks and DMC were chosen.......now in regards to the "blue" incident apart from the "leak" which indicates now that DMC had much more notice than they claim but not officially as its true the fleet was on its way before ka-tet contacted them......DMC should of been given 24hrs as is gentlemanly polite.
anyhoo, ka-tet had chosen its target but it was still under protection from one of its closest allies RA, Ka-tet approaches RA and RA say they will turn a blind eye for 30Billion isk ( i presume this is due to the titan crap or them not recieving one of the 4 MS from DMC)
so ka-tet pay's or is still due to pay im not sure if the money has changed hands yet but ka-tet had every intention of attacking DMC without knowledge of the titan crap
and it looks like ra have taken advantage of the situaiton, have gotten isk from ka-tet aswell as DMC.
im not happy about the 30bil tbh but if ka-tet walks away with at least 1 of the dmc OP's then they struck even and 2 theyve made a profit so its not that bad tbh
DMC are screwed, they always have been....theyre just only finding out about it now

well in regards to the isk it isnt changing hands........so maybe it has to do with the fact that DMC are pets and ka-tet are friends......
who would u respect more
