My list: 1. Small freighter (s) 2. Warp scrambling and other status indicators on the UI 3. Salvage Ships 4. That programmable POS one suggest above ... very good idea.

Lag - (this may take some research) I have 2 accounts, 2 computers... on one I see very little lag, the other I am not so lucky... the 3.2 GHz, 4 Gig Ram, 256 Meg PCI-E video machine works real well, the 2.8 GHz, 2 Gig Ram, 256 Meg AGP box tends to lag while things load... the more junk, the more lag... - A good "For best results - System Requirements" - Loading Order - Make it so Ships are not targetable until the client has loaded...

My Wish list:
*Meaningful tactical enviroments.
*Poll feature for the forum.
*a monthly/quaterly poll of what we would like to see revamped/added next.
*Always want new ships (with new models).
*Cool new graphics for planets/backgrounds/weapons fire/shield effect etc etc.
*Personally I would love station combat at some point. (I think it could really work well if it took a few pointers from "Rainbow Six: Raven shield" - DO NOT have CSS/Unreal style combat where its just a bunnyhopping fragfest, but istead a more tactiful slow paced combat. In Raven Shield you could not run but only walk quickly and there was no bunnyhopping rubbish because you could not jump!).
*Planetary interaction (with at somepoint a ground FPS).
*Luxery non-combat ships.
*A good bounty system.
*Crews...I was thinking a good way to do this would be like just hiring the Head Officers for each deparntment of the ship and these Officers give bonuses (e.g. A tactical officer would giver a bonus to Missile ROF, or a different tactical officer would give a bonus to Laser Range etc etc).
*The abillity to target sub systems.
*Infiniband!
*Programmable POS's like the other guy said.

1) Darker space. I don't like all the brightness, hurtz my eyez yessz. 2) More ships 3) Some sort of better warning system when you have been scrambled and/or webbed. Preferably it would also tell you who scrambled/webbed you.

A hotkey for "fire ze turrets" like all of them at once.
A hotkey that allows you to scroll thru the active windows you have open (like how alt tab works in windows)
An "unload all turrets/missile launcher" and "load all turrets/missile launchers" with command.
Collision bubbles for larger objects (such as stations and hollow asteroids) to be more correct.
Fix warp and dock command for ships so it always docks, sometimes it only says "requesting dock premission" but nothing happens even if youre at 0m
Some way to customize where the "targeted items" things appears, at certain resolutions the damage dealt/shot missed message pretty much overlaps the targeted items so that if you target more than 2 things you won't be able to see HP bars of the 3rd 4rd targets.

My only wish is for the addition of Jovian ships to add some serious content, and at the same time giving the older (as in game-time not aged) players something to skill train for. Anyone can jump into non-capital ships relatively early on, but if your end-game isnt to fly titans, carriers etc it would offer a long but ultimately satisfying/rewarding experience on the pilot skills front.
Thinking along the lines here of for example Jovian frigate requirement being all 4 faction frigate skills to level 5 - with the prize at the end of the rainbow being the ability to fly a ship that stands out from the rest in its class - I'm sure there's a lot of guys out there with +50mill SP who would relish that challenge and give their skilling some much needed new direction and motivation.

1. Big Flashy Red Indicator of warp scrambling (and by whom)
2. The often promised Amarr boost we've been waiting years for.
3. Optional Subsystem Targeting (high/med/low rack), which could usher in whole new weapon systems for disabling specific ship modules.
4. Make warp scrambling based on size of the ship doing the scrambling, so a single frigate cannot scram a battleship, etc, but would require several smaller vessels or one large one.
5. Ambulation
6. A new Amarr emperor and getting the overall 'story' moving again.
7. Occasional Jove ships around again causing problems.
8. Gladiator-style arena combat, with gambling options and stat tracking for competitors.
9. Some sort of solution for server downtime and the Europeans dominating the market based on GMT.
10. Ship decals (corp/alliance, or color schemes perhaps)

They'd carry only six or seven fighters and several dozen drones. But in addition to fighters they can mount guns, and get a mild speed boost from battleship sized MWDs (I'm thinking top speeds with standard MWD of around 400 or so with good skills.) The price of an unfitted light carrier would be maybe 100 mil less than that of a standard, but they'd use their own [cheaper] light carrier skillbook. I'm thinking Advanced SSC 5 instead of Cap Ships 1 as well, which will also save ISK in the short term for the pilot.
2. Light logistics ships. Tech 2 destroyers with a huge capacitor and fitting bonuses for reppers. Naturally they would also have a greatly reduced signature radius, since standard logistics ships already have smaller radii than standard destroyers. What other bonus do these ships have? How about a 90% volume reduction on ammunition stored in their cargo hold. Makes transporting reloads for battleships and dreads easier when there's POS spamming to be done.
3. More diverse NPCs in belts. Random battleship spawns in 0.1 - 0.3 space. T2 rats that actually fight with T2 capability.
4. Random rare ore spawns in Low Sec belts.
5. Removal of sentry guns below 0.4 sec.
6. Preliminary plans for tactical environments need to be in the works. If nothing else, take away the ability to hit a ship that is behind another ship. If you do that then weaker ships can take cover behind tankers or asteroids. Also, cancel EW effects if the target becomes completely blocked by a solid object, such as an asteroid or station. This will force PvPers to actually dogfight and maneuver in such a way that maintaining damage and EW on the target isn't just automatic.

3. Non-consentual pvp love. Current empire wardec system combined with NPC corps is a joke. Scrap factional warfare until you get the core of eve back to where it was supposed to be. Quit pandering to the expectations of people who came from softer games.
4. More anti-blob
5. More volume controls to balance sound output instead of the current deafening warp & missile sounds while other sounds are barely audible.
6. If you're going to add ships, add NEW ships. It's a real let down for the new sparklies to just be reskins of the same old boats.
7. Give Amarr an astrometrics frigate (with an actual new model) so they have one less thing to gripe about. Maybe they'll shutup for awhile...
8. Since Ambulation is probably our next big expansion, try to give us some destruction ability with it. I know, I know... Teaspoon effect, death problems, yadda yadda. Don't care. If you're going to add something with which someone can sit their blubbery butt in a station for a year straight making tons of isk (bars, liposuction clinics, clothes sellers, etc), there had better be a way to disrupt their happy carebear ways. Otherwise you are furthering the tone of the game away from the 'cold, dark world' you guys still like to post.
9. More Ambulation: While lounging in chairs and saluting are neat, they will be cool for probably no more than a week. Then it becomes boring repetition. Sorry. I know you guys probably work for months on this stuff, but it's the way of it when it comes to gamers. Nifty emotes and shiney hallways are not real content. Try to work in something that actually matters to the rest of the game. Perhaps something like hacking a corperation's hq office to get info that is already available via killboards to remove some of the need for metagaming endevours. Or perhaps doing something like a ship scan against a player's market or CONCORD records, where it returns just a few results. Something with lasting interesting uses. I don't think standing around staring up at a star map will be that meaningful for very long... Sorry.
10. New module and ship concepts. A graviton beam with good range that reduces a ships agility by tons but doesn't affect speed (a new counter to go fast opponents). Or a ship which carries little offensive abilities of it's own, but can scramble or briefly control opponent drones and fighters. Not to mean those are good ideas since I only thought about them for 10 seconds each, but new concepts in that sort of way...
In that order and understandng that 1 and 2 are lightyears more important than 3 and 4, which are in turn far more important than the rest.

Gives bonus but they also give malus if damaged. 4 - Finish all tiers 1,2,3 (esp bc and carrier/ms). Tiers 2/3 shuttle would be a jump shuttle (yes, a jump freighter but small), an assault shuttle (you could have military on cargo to assault the capital ships's crew), assault drones, etc. EW fighters, mining fighters. "Illusional" ship would be a tiers 2 dictor. They would appaer as a ship you choose with a special cloak until someone is under 2km. 5 - fictional warfare :) 6 - planets, stockmarkets. 2isk

1) Complete Re-Vamp of POS gameplay
2) Anti-drone weapon system (or anti-drone drones)
3) More ships (especially with new models)
4) Interbus like service
5) easier to understand / use faction system
6) Indicators for EWar (when it is being applied to you)
7) Better player bounty / standing system
8) Higher rewards / bounties for low sec
9) Make invention more predictable (not more profitable, just easier to anticipate the outcome) or provide a stable method of producing t2 items and ships for corps / players that do not have a BPO (if you get unlucky on a chain of invention jobs it can disrupt your war effort..... let players, who can afford it, fly the ships they want)
10) I'd like to see meaningful gameplay incorperated into amublation, if it is just a chat program I would really rather the time be spent elsewhere. I like the idea of ambulation but I have a feeling it will be rather hollow for a long time following release.

1) Empire NPC warfare - I want to see a Minmatar fleet pounding on an Amarr station.
2) Empire PC warfare - I want to be part of the Minmatar fleet pounding on an Amarr station. (gain/lose faction standing accordingly) Would this be essentially joining the Minmatar navy?
3) Empire warfare consequences - I want to see Minmatar take over an Amarr station/system with all of the crazy market and security standing goodness that goes with it. (Is a conquered territory high-sec, low-sec, in between? Does having a fleet in-system make a difference in security status?)
4) Quafe IRL again (that universal monopoly has to start sometime, why not before EVE Gate?)
5) Empire warfare privateering - I want to get a Letter of Marque from the Minmatar and hunt down Amarr ships. A share of the booty (modules/ammo or the ship depending on value?) and the usual faction standing changes.
Feel free to change Minmatar/Amarr for whatever flavors you like. Although it certainly would be amusing to have a Caldari fighting for the Amarr against the Gallente commanded by a Minmatar.
If you can't tell, I think that Empire warfare could be positively delicious. Whether or not it will be is another matter.

No tech 3 without extensive play testing and theorizing first. A badly implemented tech level would be a hugely epic and lasting failure on the part of the developers.

i.e. speed-fit T1 frigates or any ceptor with a MWD. Putting +anything warp on something at this point has almost no use. Hactors put permascram on things that can't line up for warp quickly in low sec, and even +100000 warp strength won't get you through a bubble camp.

Reunite the clients (Premium/Classic) under Premium, code it properly so the client degrades gracefully if it can't support SM3, and enjoy only having one thing to fix when it all goes wrong. Avoid DX10 like the plauge. If you upgrade, go to OpenGL- better graphics than DX10 with none of the compatability issues, plus it's open source... Ambulation would be nice, but let's get that cluster-side performance stuff sorted _first_. User interface needs fixing. API needs someone assigning to it full-time. Website needs someone assigning to it full-time. Planetary interaction would be awesome. Do it. Better control of POSes, outposts, and so on. End macro miners. End ISK spammers. Put in some really, really simple filters and restrictions to stop that sort of ****. I don't know, perhaps have a restriction on characters sending email till they're 2-4 weeks old or out of trial. Transparency. Lots more of it with CCP. Lots more.
Oh, and T2/T3 Shuttles. Even if shuttles are the only T3 items.

Ships: 1) New ship designs for under-strength classes (Destroyers, freighters, etc). I'd love to have the same variety in destroyers that I enjoy in cruisers. 2) Mini-freighters (200k m3?)
Caldari Online: A great missile-renaming, to remove the current confusion forced on new players. Right now, we have two classes of missiles, 'regular' and 'rocket style': rocket - heavy assault missile - torpedo light missile - heavy missile - cruise missile and then the launchers: rocket - heavy assault missile - torpedo standard - assault - heavy - cruise
I look at the chart, and I ask myself, if heavy assault missile launchers shoot heavy assault missiles, what do assault launchers shoot?
Maybe I'm picking nits (in fact, no maybe, I am), but wouldn't something like 'light rocket' 'rocket' 'heavy rocket' 'light missile' 'standard missile' 'heavy missile' Make more sense? Maybe 'rocket' 'light torpedo' 'heavy torpedo'?
And while we're at it, how about an 'assault launcher' style launcher for my raven, so that I can spam heavy missiles?
Characters: Skill queue. Make it a new skill that lets you queue 1 skill/level trained. Yes, people could queue up 5 level 5 skills and come back a month later and be done... but there's not that great a gap between logging on for 30 seconds 5 times in a month and not logging on at all. The benefits far outweigh the costs on this one.
Getting around: An in game route planner with: -Multiple routes, for comparing alternatives -2d-style in-game map, because most of the time, I care about nodes traversed, not actual distance and position -individual system avoidance settings/weights (keep me out of jita) ------ {o,o} (__(| -"-"- EVEMon - The open source Jamaican wiseman. |
