Like the topic says. Tenaj is an ore thief. I managed to get most of my friends ore hauled b4 Tenaj showed up and grabbed the last little bit, but if you are mining and see this person beware.
Was a .6 system so wasn't even anything we could do without losing sec status. Only got 21k scordite too, so not even worth a bounty to us. So I guess this is pretty much a warning, unless some of you are feeling like murdering someone for the heck of it...in which case, Tenaj would make a good candidate. Tenaj does fly a bestower though, and I know how much you pirates like indies ;-)

yes, Tenaj almost got some ore from me and my buddy when we were mining i 0.7, i think its pretty sure that Tenaj is someones alt char...reward for the one who finds out who's alt Tenaj is

It seems I had an entire system, and 3 corps wanting to hunt me down, and kill me today, and all i got was 45k veld, and 4k kernite. Heck one of the corps gunning for me, I didnt even get anything from hehe.
Ahh, such is the life.
I have to say, it was the most fun I have had.
At least I am a polite thief. I made sure to not smack talk, and to thank them kindly for their ore.

some people love to use the one "i'm new and cant efford a sec can just yet and thats why i'm mining"......
go hunt some light rats in secure space and when you have enough isk buy a secure can and go mine.
at least then we wont have to put up with people posting on here and moaning about losing their ore since they were too stupid to use the tools that are provided for them.

lol, i mine alot, and i woulnt care if u tried to get 4k of kern from me, 10 minuts work... woooooow i need to gank the f*cker for that NARF :)
use secure containers if u dont want the risk :)

btw yes its lame to steal ore, but it would be a bit easy in Eve without pirates, so i dont care bout them
hell i got stopped by maffia and i had to pay 20mil, my own fault i should have used the map and local chat more

I read this in the patch notes from not too long ago:
It is no longer possible to anchor anything in space where the system security level is greater than 0.8 .
I may also point out that sec cans have to be 5km or more apart, along with their low cargo space, making them cumbersome and time-inefficient.
So in other words, it's time for CCP to make stealing from cans a crime so that people can defend their ore, for which they worked a long time to attain.
So, if you pick up ore from a can that is not of your corps or gangs, you should take a few tenths or hundredth security rating hits (depending on security level of system), so that the people mining may freely shoot the offender and so that CONCORD will come and punish these thieves (in highest sec systems, of course)

Well there's your problem, you're not mining in the right sec systems! 0.8 and up is meant for newbies.

Mining in 0.5 and higher is cumbersome and time-inefficient, why don't you go to 0.4 and lower?

So who is going to protect the noobs from low life ore thieves now that they wont be able to secure cans in .8 to 1.
Cause I bet my bottom dollar that that there will be a big exlosion in ore theft once the secure cans are gone.

I myself dont steal ore in .8 - 1.0, its not worth it.
.5-.6 has much better ores.
However, as pointed out, .8-1.0 is supposed to be reserved for newbs. On that note, I have no problem taking from a big corp strip mining in high sec space. Give the new guys a chance!
So I guess I am a thief with a conscious hehe.

Nobody, because they won't fetch enough ore to use 27m3 cans. Newbies will mine without the jettisoned can trick. By the time they got indies themselves, they can move out to the lower part of space and try their luck there.

This post has been really funny 'cos 90% of the replies are flaming adrianna for not using secure cans.
You might also find it amusing that Adrianna thinks we should all have our internet addresses published when we sign up to EVE so that pirates and thieves can be held to account in RL, and that my theft of her friends ore represents a very real loss to him as he put in real time in the real world to acquire it. Basically, she'd like to see me arrested and tried in RL for theft in EVE.
I've already suggested that she go play the Sims or get a PS2 and Britney's dance party....less stressful for her i'd say.

I think someone needs to lighten up, or perhaps go and open their front door and take a look outside for a few minutes.
