I see a lot of comments here about "They are releasing Tech 2 slowly to make sure it's balanced"
But the truth of the situation is you can't balance modules unless they are live in a universe that contains all the other modules. Because the introduction of each module will upset the balance of all the others... maybe a CPU II will give just enough extra CPU to fit another Tachyon... or maybe Tracking Computer II will negate the low-tracking on a medium turret and when combined with a Tech II turret will allow the turret to hit small, fast moving ships.
You see, without ALL modules in the game, everytime a new one is introduced it'll throw everything else out.
And what the hell is going on with those Cap Relays... correct me if I'm wrong, but they've been like that since release - why change them NOW! So the Tech 2 versions will be exactly the same as Tech I versions WERE?

I remember back in december or jan when they re-activated everyones account so they could "checkout Tech II", and tech II is still very scarce. ------- Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes Guardian Enforcer, wrecking for 827.3 damage. |

How do you know all of Tech 2 hasn't been released yet? I never heard any promises made. This is pretty much all I was expecting from Tech 2...
In the event that Shiva is not out in the schedule month of May, I quit Eve - I am not chasing the stupid carrot, I want a steak and I want it now!

There are certain t2 modules that have been released in a very imbalanced manner. Take backup eccm's Plenty of mag and grav to be had... no ladar or radar to be found. If this doesn't create a rather large balance issue for 2 races I don't know what does.
When they released weapon upgrades t2... they did them all within a 1 week stretch. Why certain imbalances are allowed to exist is beyond me. Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

becouse in multiple occasions they mentioned shive (tech3), kali (tech4).... duh... , in the old csm chats im sure they have...  my 2 cents though

Don't flame what you don't understand.... thats funny you need new skills to be able to use tech 2 weapons so you are completely wrong when you say people can use "pretty much all tech 2 stuff"!
Who cares? Alot of people... Dedicated, veteran players need new content to hold their interest. Just because your a noob that can't imagine what it would be like to accomplish something in the game, you should just STFU.
It's a game your right (finally something), but it should be fun. And to continue to be fun it needs to evolve and change.

What Im saying is that all those things that you really couldn't get With out Hunting. And some of them never existed in the game at all. And this includes that some of these BPs weren't ever available until just recently.
Here is a list of some: Medium Photon Smart Bomb 1 Medium Shield Booster 1 Medium Nosferatu 1 Heavy Nosferatu 1 Medium Energy Nuetralizer 1 Heavy Energy Nuetralizer 1 CPU 1 Overdrive Injector 1 MultiSpectral Jammer 1 and I know there are others....
Now, could you get these items? yes. Via hunting. Cept for the heavy/med nos,nutralizers.
Now, could you build these items? no. Market didn't have these blueprints for sale. Which means it was never fully introduced. Why I don't know.
This is no lie, i know for a fact most of these things have been added just recently. It really wasn't that long ago considering when tech 1 was introduced. Been playing pretty hardcore since then I guess I really don't know anything? Get a clue.
Anyway new skills? No sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant very high skills.
Some of us have mostly lvl5 and a couple lvl4's in every skill that applies to their career.
I checked out the skill requs on Chaos for all the available tech2.
I can use everything. So can alot of my friends.
Can new ppl? or ppl that have been playing for 3months?
New ppl? hell na.
3month? Maybe one or 2 items. a ship if they wasted all their time on training just for that, but would leave them skilless to make that ship effective.
4-5month? If they focused hard on skill areas they could use a few items. Ship? well they still would have used so much time training to use that tech 2 ship that they wouldn't still have much effectives behind it.
Not to say that they aren't savvy with what they have. not everyone sucks.
Now us who have been playing since beta. Ya we can use all the gear. And with our skills we make that gear uberly uber.
Great for us. Bad for all the others. Which in turn will kill the game slowly. Which is alleady happening.

The tech 2 so far released has introduced plenty. True - for pilots or pure users of tech 2 I can see why they think little has been added. It's however a whole new story for researchers/manufacturers - even the small release of tech 2 that so far has taken place has created a meaningful new dimension for industrialist, and certainly particularly those operating in empire space.
The realease could however certainly be faster. No, it would not give much of an edge to those with 11 mil skillpoints since new players can choose to specialize in the ships of one race instead of first learning to fly every battleship in the game. Most skillpoints of average 11 million sp players are highly redundant or add very marginal benefits overall.
So far so good, but get us more T2 stuff faster :)
