If one alliance betrays the others by exploiting a good opportunity, then it could potentially benefit a lot at the cost of the others. If they all fight then they will be collectively worse off.

When I mentioned skill I was talking about your ability to troll, which is indeed quite poor. If you want some help I suggest you learn from the original poster as he is quite adept. As for my own debating skills, that's pretty much irrelevant. If someone wants to make a bald statement with no substance they can expect a similar reply from me.
