Edited by: Hehulk on 14/01/2008 02:06:50 Just over 1 year ago, the fevered dream that was Black Sea Industries quietly re-established it's self in the eve cluster. We've had a hell of a first year back, war decing for giggles in empire, being war dec'd in returned, getting blobed, counter blobing, holding space, losing space, seeing old friends come and go and making new ones. We've nearly died again, only for the corp to pull though as the senior members and directors take what could have been and turning it around to make it to where we are now.
Last January saw us declaring war on Smash Alliance for a week, then being counter dec'd by mercenaries and promptly having several carriers dumped ontop of us. Form there, we joined Interstellar Starbase Syndicate for 2 weeks to do some hard isk making, only to find Tenerifis a war zone upon arrival and leaving barely a week after we arrived. Arriving back in empire, we make some fast isk from agents and exploration, then launched into a very enjoyable 2 week war with the newly re-formed Curse Alliance. Props must go out to LD and his lads in Moa who gave us a hell of a fight every night for over a week.
Late March saw us being accepted into Cult Of War and raiding the hell out of Great Wilderlands until CA seemed to fold under the pressure. From there, we went from strength to strength until we headed north to try and take Germinate. Lots of fun fights were had there, but alas our tactics of mass remote repping BS just couldn't counter snipers that we couldn't reach and eventually we left to go further north into Tenal occupying V7- recently freeded up from the MC lead invasion of the north.
There we sieged and were in turn counter sieged until by early september numbers were dwindling and one by one the new north fell until we saw little choice to withdraw as well. Never one to let the alliance flounded, BS.I helped push COW down south in an attempted to claim Curse for our own. Here we played cat and mouse with TCF and IAC until we felt ready to try and take the region full force. Knocking towers into reinforced again and again TCF were resolute in their defence and eventually once again numbers dwindled, corps began to leave, and it became very clear COW wasn't going to take Curse.
From there, we attempted to regroup in Great Wilderlands, COWs spiritual home, but that wasn't to be either and so with AWAR and EE gone, alliance leadership fell solely to us. The last 3 + weeks have seen us back in empire, ganking, blobing, being blobed and enjoying eve over the Christmas holidays.
To Old Members who have left over the last year: Thank you for flying with us while you chose to. Your a very big part of the reason we're still here
To Current members: You are what make us strong, and without you we would be nothing. Let's see how far this horizon goes eh
To our friends, allies and enemies: We've had a hell of a year, speaking from a directorial position, and we owe much of this to you. Thanks for the fun, and you ain't seen nothing yet
