Two, I can get the bond now and make money off it while I'm waiting for my other income to come in. The maximum term for the bond is 6 months but I will most likely pay it back in 2 or 3.

You're welcome to post reservations here, but I doubt anyone else will be able to get shares. Tarash Awin is last with his reservation for 2b, though if everyone prior to him follows through he'll only get 250m worth. I have 1.1b of in-game reservations as well. I may have people who sent ISK, I'll have to do timeline check to see who got in under the buzzer.

Edit: Tarash Awin you're eligible for 250m worth of bonds at the moment, not the full 2 bil.

It's only 8% per month. That's great if you have billions of ISK and are struggling to invest it all. But at 10m, 100m, or even a billion it's basically trivial to invest it in your own venture and make much much more than 8%. With 25b in assets I'm not personally happy in my ventures unless I'm getting 30-100% return per month. At 10m net worth I was doubling my investment in less than 2 days.

I am, to this day, a big noob when it comes to combat, fitting ships, and anything related to fighting. All you have to do is find two high pop locations (I always used Jita as one). Go down the list of items and look at EVERY SINGLE ITEM and compare prices and volume traded. You don't have to have a clue what the stuff does or why people want it, all you need to do is understand how the market interface works. Also I probably wouldn't want to do it without two accounts. As time goes on and you've spent time looking at the market you'll start to notice patterns. What's hot, what's not. What has volatile prices, what's stable. What has good margins, what has bad margins. It's just a matter of keeping your nose in the market display and being able to stick with it long enough so that the patterns jump out at you. That's all I did. I started with 5m, never got any kind of wind fall or break, and I built up to a billion in a month.

The sale of the account is actually why I released this bond now. I had been planning it, but would have waited another week or two to actually do it had that account not come along. Been waiting for a decent trader account for months.

I didn't want to get specific because I didn't want more competition. I went for the buyout because I really didn't want to see anyone else grab the account, it's exactly what I've been looking for.

I can make 100-300m a day profit with the skills that character has. With that level of profit I don't really care. It'll be paid off in a couple weeks. Better than waiting two months to train the alt.

Now all I have to do is pay 8% per month and pay back the original investment upon liquidation and everything is kosher. I don't think Myrdyr is contesting that though, just for whatever reason he wants to make light of my purchasing decision. I'm not offended, and if I wanted to hide it I would have used a secret alt to bid. I didn't, I used my main.
