I haven't been watching any eve movies for a while now, so I have no idea witch of the recent vids are worth watching.
Can you tell me what was the best eve video you have seen last year?

As much respect as I have for DE, that video isn't worthy of 2007's movie of the year. It's a nice tribute, but tbh, it's hardly that great.
I vote for Kale Ryoko's 'Welcome To The Syndicate'.
Complete awesomeness, and a style that blows everything I've seen out of the water. If he doesn't edit for a living, I'm amazed...

The Exiled (the the great sync and effects), both DaMiGe Controls (for the PVP and me being in them) and FAT-Camp (because it documents a great war of alliances in a fresh way). At least no one will be angry with me for because of this answer, but it's honest - alot of good stuff released in 2007!

& Second Outbreak Re:dux made by Dash Ripcock ( Outbreak ).

Tbh I donÆt think its fair on video makers to just have best video of the year.. There are so many different styles.. Some people decide to let their pvp do the talking, others decide on the art side of things with moons,ships,station etc and also the comedy sketches

Honestly, I can't really place my vote anywhere tho I would love to, but it's just hard to find videos that include small gang fights or even solo pvp for that matter. Most videos I've downloaded involve either side being heavily outnumbered, or the main filmer (yes this is pointed at Cown) deagresses and docks in the movie, or fights people with really bad setups.
There's a bunch of movies that come to mind, but nothing that really stands out as a good movie, I guess I'm setting my aims too high here expecting to see good fights in a movie.

All Malets videos are 100% quality, some of em are more or less like Eve-Online Promotional videos, but still its 100% quality

Have you remotely even tried to gather material for a movie like that? Its really hard to find a perfect matched fight you know. Battle will always tilt to someones favor. In a game like eve where actual reflex/micromanagement skills arent top priority (like in a fps game) youll rarely find anyone excel by large margins because of pure skill. This aint the game.

2007 was an awesome year for vids. It seems everyone (including myself) learned to use Adobe After Effects after Dire released Day of Darkness, haha. My favorites were in this order:
1. Dire Lauthris - The Exiled
2. Dire Lauthris - Day of Darkness
3. Kale Ryoko - Welcome to the Syndicate
4. Dash Ripcock - Outbreak Redux
I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with using the Trinity engine. CCP, please fix the Set As... camera options in Trinity as soon as possible!

In my experience, the fights that i wish I'd frapsed, good fights, were so close that I didn't want to fiddle with fraps since the fights needed my full attention. Guess a lot of other people do the same thing.

The best fight ive been in recently was me in a punisher versus 2 other punishers - i forgot to turn on fraps though :(
The km said i took 10.5k of damage or something silly, killed one of them and broke the others tank but still didnt finish him.
I pee'd a little at that.
My Favourite has to be Destination unknown, simply for the Sleipnir madness in the openning.
