Quote: im 15, and im a genius at writing crap . look at my or nelix trist bio
I have always been of the opinion that you are not a genius until you don't need to say you are one - or perhaps until someone you think of as a genius calls you the same.
Each to his own.

As a university student studying science with creative writing minor, this will be a great place to test out my skills with the best . I should have an article soon. I will see what comes out of my head tonight .
EDIT: Quick question... 1) Do you want a txt file, or an e-mail?
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

Not entirely sure what you mean by 'prologue' and 'epilogue' here. To clarify; for this contest we're looking for news-piece style stories. While Interstellar Correspondents have on occasion been called upon to write short stories and other material for the game, the vast majority of what they do is news-related in nature and so that's the primary area of focus here. In any case, the word count is more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule: if you slightly exceed 350 words or don't quite make it over 250, don't sweat it too much -- we'll still admit your entry.
Richard Gee: Yep, that's the format we're looking for.
Haratu: .txt files sent as attachments are preferred. E-mails will be read, albeit with an arched eyebrow and a haughty sneer.
Great submissions so far, guys. Looking forward to seeing more.

Too bad my english and writing skill are not good and I'm far too lacy.
Ok sort of [offtopic] as I want to jump on the "add more content" bandwagon.
I'm just curious about the Content team could add the diary of a traveler through the world of eve or perhaps more diaries of for example:
"Minmatar nomade trader traveling through Republic and Federation" "Gallente hauler transporting things through the World" "Caldari conducting business on different locations of the state" "Amarr monk or clergy visiting different places in the vast empire" "Gallente historian/philosophian"
thus introducing more the day-to-day things, activitie, business on stations and planets and adding maybe some locations like famous (must visit) bars/clubs, museums, historic relevant locations/persons/groups, daily magazines, Authors names/Book titles/sayings a snob can quote.
How about an world of eve encyclopaedia?
I mean it isn't like the player are unable to perform this but playerfiction diverge sometimes from the prime fiction. (Hey I like player fictions (some of the writers are realy good) but they might miss documents the content team can see, if there are.)
(I envy most on the field of world building the OrionĘs Arm project, guess my in two personal projects (not jet very advanced) will never reach that level )

Could I ask our esteemed CCP representative if perhaps the entries will be made public domain after the contest ends for the reading delight of the EVE public?
And if not, why not? --

Well, they would need permission from each of the entrants. I, for one, give my permission thaqt mine be made public for reading if I ever get around to writing one.

Ditto for my entry, and even if it's not released I'll be posting mine to the EVE Library/Intergalactic Summit as an "amateur" newsreporter.
Still, I'd love to see the option for them all to be displayed side-by-side to further highlight the writing talent that the EVE universe seems to gather --
