Hmm that dev ship looks like a big robot bug I once saw in a drone mission, except drone sized.
I would be nervous if a dev had kill rights on me though.

CCP removing ships from the game and giving compensation? Now they have no excuse simply to delete 99 in every 100 supercaps and give the owners compensation, while changing the build stats to 3000 times more expensive than they are now.

Im with those who say it should be able to be kept and traded as a wall ornament. Seeing as it cant be flown anyway. And yeah at 50bil Id be asking for at LEAST 50bil in something as compensation.
If it wasnt API verified Id say yeah right but seeing as it is wow, intense that is TRULY once in a lifetime event right there.

Something? It is pretty much the first point. No matter how much killmail whores and e-peen swingers wish differently CCP can terminate your account for minor or no offense at all. So ya, props to CCP Dern for not doing that and giving out presents instead.
Btw. as seemingly CCP Dern is a bug hunter, and as such not a developer, the title of this thread is misleading.

Lol no. Bug hunters are either ISD[whatever], BH [whatever], or both. They do not get the CCP title and do not have the same roles (for example, they cannot hax modules to have different stats like CCPers can). Also, much more importantly, Bug Hunters aren't allowed to be on TQ for any reason whatsoever at any time. And they certainly aren't allowed to be derping around lowsec in a Cockroach with unobtainable modules and ships in their cargo. |

No one said they were or were not good at PvP. Simply congratulating them on a rare find and ever rarer killmail. It doesnt take someone whos good at PvP to kill an AFKer in low sec, but it does take someone exceptionally lucky to find an AFK dev in lowsec with an enigma in its cargo :D Props to them! (NOTE: im not saying they are not good PvPers) |

Would of thought they would bring down the hammer of justice, it wasn't a fleet of devs flying abaddons that announced it in advance. The ships should have 99% resist across the board, unkillable amount of hitpoints before down time, small sig, fast warp / align, bubble immunity, +infinity warp core stabilizer...so its not killable and it can do the job of the person behind it.
If it had been me as a developer, I would of summoned them back, podded them, summon their clone before they can update it, then pod them again before requesting the accounts be banned for 2 weeks....but thats just me being vindictive and I would have a valid excuse because they were interfering with my job . |

its low sec and if he didn't want to die he should be cloaked
they got a plex each which was cool if they were allowed to keep it things like this would keep happening to certin people
