I just logged into TQ, yes it was TQ, im not set up for SiSi.
Anyways the server feed me a 4mb patch, but didnt seem to do anything else?
What gives? No patch notes?
Am I the secret winner?

After the patch downloaded, I clicked the "OK" button thinking it would take me to the normal patcher stuffs, instead it just went right back to the account login screen, i typed in my password, and everything went as it normally does.

Go to the one that says patch notes,click it ( most likely left click) then scroll all the way down to the bottom and read.
last one listed is a server side patch (ie not us), and it occured on the 15th, today being the 17th. Not that I didnt check that stuff before I came to the forums, but thanks for pointing out that resource for those who dont know of its exsistance.

Yeah ok great, but what was the 4mb patch for? What was changed? Were root commands issued?

2hrs after I started this thread, and still no answer from the Devs as to what was installed, what was changed, why there wasnt an annoucement before this patch.
Some may ask why it is important to know in advance about CCP patches? I like to know when there is a patch coming, so I dont log in and have set my skills accordingly. I always try and stay clear of Eve for 4-8hrs after a patch is deployed for all those bugs that slip through to work their way out.
Seriously this is just further indication that the levels of Customer Service that CCP has always had a problem with are further slipping into chaos. Instead of all the fancy stuff you guys are working on, how about getting back to basics taking care of the customers you already have instead of worrying about the customers you might get.
