actually this seems pretty good in general to improve concentration - it's just being marketed at gamers when that's really only a secondary function. People with incredibly short attention spans (like me) could probably benefit a lot from this, especially when studying or doing creative work where all the coke, red bull and cappuchino in the world couldn't keep you switched on

I may look into this. I've always had an issue with chronic tiredness and sleepiness, no matter how much sleep or exercise I had gotten, and falling asleep in the most inconvenient places (class, military service, meetings, etc.)
I manage to overcome it with the usual assortment of caffeinated drinks all day long (literally), but too much coffee and red bull ends up screwing my weak stomach. And I'm wary of the cancerous crap they put into diet coke (can't stand the sugary normal one).

Aye, I can actually understand that, I just find it sad that some people pay for the product just to improve thier gaming abilities.
"FpsBrain is mostly being used by professional computer players. Furthermore, people use FpsBrain during an intensive studying period or while doing creative work. Every day, we receive numerous messages from people who tell us about the success of FpsBrain in many different areas"
Its other uses do seem rather helpful though, escpecially like two people have already stated, suffering from chronic tiredness, or where they want thier brain to work the best.
"Yes, many clients have reduced their consumption of coffee or energy-drinks and use FpsBrain as a substitute. Unlike refreshments or energy drinks that contain caffeine, FpsBrain does not result in nervousness, shaky hands or a caffeine flash, but helps the computer player to efficiently concentrate throughout the game. FpsBrain releases its active ingredients constantly for 6 hours maximum into the body."
This is a good point too actually, you do end up feeling like regretably **** after binge drinking caffiene.

I've read about that, but I've had this problem long before I started to abuse caffeine.
I started the abuse during my first job, which was just a summer gig in an office in London. Fed up with having to struggle to stay awake at the workplace, I walked into Boots and asked them for something to deal with it. They just said I should eat more sugar. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I just started to resort to frequent and continuous visits to the coffee pot... a habit I've maintained while working ever since.

Look into a condition called 'Sleep apnea'. Many people have it without realizing it! just check out wikipedia for more info...

That is actually not a good thing. What if you have some unforeseen reaction to this stuff and have to suffer for 6 hours? I've had a situation like that once - I thought I was going to die - my heart rate jumped and would not go down for 8 hours, I could not sleep, everything I ate/drank went straight through my system and came out the other end. It was not pretty.

Hmmm... just looked into it, very interesting, thank you.
I do have a problem with nasal obstruction as well (for which I've already had surgery, though they only improved somehow the situation, not solved it), so that may be related...
