Why when I set my destination to somewhere deep in 0.0 space does it say that it is unreachable?

possibly you have your autopilot settings too restricted.
go to Map > Autopilot > Settings, check ignore security status, and move the security penalty slider to 0 and see wha hoppens

One of two things is happening here.
First, you may have 'avoid systems with pod kills' or whatever it is set in your autopilot controls. This will make some systems 'unreachable', especially as much of 0.0 has constantly camped choke points, where pods get squished all the time.
Second, if you're trying to set course for Jove space, you literally can't reach them. Those are GM/Dev playgrounds. -------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales FIRST!! -Yipsilanti Pfft. Never such a thing as a "last chance". ;) -Rauth |

Sure, just get those friendly Joves to drop a cyno for you and you're all set.

no unless a GM or a DEV puts a cyno up for you
to the OP
you might have settings that restrict some systems(like pod kills and so on)
or you are setting the course to jove space (off limits to players)

What everyone else said.. make sure your not restricting your auto-pilot...
and there are 'dev-playground' areas were they sit at and float while they moniter things in their 99% resist frigates with superweapon damage light blasters and 100% cap recharg-rate frigates *grins* --------------------------------------------- "Only two great species on this planet take part in massive, organized warfare. Er... so he names his character after someone in a film. Bit like, ooooh, say... Hannibal Lecter? ________________________________________________________________

Well technically it was after two characters in the same movie, as opposed to Hannibal who named himself one like you defend. --

wasnt that the hack where you had to get one titan of every race, reprocess them, stuff the zydrine and megacyte into a freighter and have it popped in jita by a noob ship of the same race as the freighter?

If it's what i'm thinking of it wasn't really a hack and you never actually moved to jove space.
A while ago someone did a LOT of scanning and warping and eventually reached the coordinates of jove space but due to the way the system changes work never materialised there.
don't think you can even do that anymore
and even further back (birth of eve) i believe it was possible to install jump clones in jove stations.

actually i think what happend was somone in the allaince tourney opened a corp office up in a station in that area and that allowed people to install there clones there, then they would pod themselves and wake up there.

at the birth of eve, jump clones didn't exist =) guess you mean normal clones and pod yourself there... guess they took it out.
heard of some hidden stargate somewhere that leads to jove space, but it's locked. guess it's just a joke or something. other way of getting there are becomming a dev/gm, and join the alliance tournament...
