OK so i completed my tutorial agent missions, and he set me up with another agent in a different system. Ive done about 20 missions for this second agent. My question is, is there an end to these other agents mission lists and a reward at the end like with the tutorial? or do they just constantly make up random meaningless missions? thanks "I must break you" |

The agents are constantly generating random missions, but these missions can have substantial rewards, especially if you are working for high level/quality agents.

Yes, with better agent quality you get more isk and better item rewards. Even more important is the agent level, you should always work for the highest level you can access.

Well from what ive noticed, it looks like your faction with a particular agent will cap at 10.0. Also something that you may not notice is that when your faction goes up with that agent it may also go up a corresponding corporation (which is also good). Of course i may be wrong.

Yes, with every normal mission you get a big change in the personal standing with the agent, and a small change in corporation standing. And with important missions, you get a big change in corporation standing, and a small change in faction standing.
You can right-click the standings in your character sheet and select "show transactions", there you can see the standing changes in detail.

OK--------i'm interested in agent work and its kind of involved.
are there any better lonks to some peeps that have a agent work basics? or intermediate level information just not noob info.
what are the aims for agent work?
new blue prints? implant handouts? "important missions"?
why do i want to do agent work to raise faction with corps and agents?
What catagory of aganets are there? and why have different catagory's of missions? example: mining or hauling ore missions, i guess research missions, security hunt and kill missions, basic courier missions,
what level ship do i need for level 1 agent work, level 2 agent work, level 3 agent work.
Whats highest agent in game? i've found a level 5 agent with + quaility standings
whats highest + standing agent you can find? 18+ highest i've seen
Is there value in sticking with only one agent and getting your rating to +10 or waot to do that with level 3 agents then level 4 and 5 when they start giving missions?
which agents give implants? which give blue prints?
what other ubers are there thru agent work.
just a couple questions.

I posted this before but it bares repeating:
-----------------------------
Pay for agents depends on quality of agent, how many agents you are running and your typical turn around time.
It is probably not as profitable as high end mining but you can do okay.
I run two level2 agents and two level3 agents simultaneously - all from the same station. Often when I check them they have missions that go to the same place - so provided I have big enough cargo space I can often complete multiple missions with one trip.
In terms of the pure cash rewards/bonuses I probably pickup between 1.5 and 2 mill isk per evening 4 hr session using this system.
However this does not count the various other rewards i.e. Tech 2 Components (which sell for around 10k per item now), crystals, trade goods, frigates, shuttles and various other modules that you pick up while doing missions.
The most impotant thing however is that I am also picking up approx one basic Intelligence implant per week atm and these sell for between 12 and 14 million each at the moment. That puts my income at around 20/22 million per week - and if I am lucky and get two impants in a week the approx 32/34 million.
Other things you should also bear in mind that the NEGOTIATIONS skill gives a 5% bonus per level to rewards as it improves the Effective Quality of the agent. So if you train this to 4 you pick up around 20% extra per missions - which adds up when doing lots of missions.
I am sure uber miners and NPC hunters probably earn way more cash - but Agent Rewards can be decent if you work at it, find the right agents in the right location and get a lot of practice at finishing missions as quickly and efficiently as possible!
Bear in mind though that it will take some time till you get to level 3 agent level... and you have to be able to cope with their kill missions!
--------------------------------
Just for your info we had about 3 newbie members join us in the past few weeks... All hated agent missions but I told them to persist. All now have got level 3 agents which have started giving them implants (selling for 6 million and upward) and they like their agents a lot

There's no real benefit to sticking with your race's agents. There is benefit to picking a race of agents and sticking with that race, but you can start with whichever race you'd like.
I'm Minmatar. I have some nice Gallente agents in Aridia.
