I'm a jaded trader who wants a holiday from the drudgery of selling modules and the hell-hole called Jita. So I'm leaving the kids home alone and going on a road trip to low-sec and 0.0.
I want to see things I've never seen before, hit ctrl-F9 and take some nice holiday snapshots. I don't care how many times I'm podded, I just want to get the hell out of care bear space and experience something new. My dream is to get a snapshot of a Titan, but locations with interesting monuments or old wrecks would be fine, whatever!
Any suggestions?

Go to one of the systems on the map browser that show a sightseeing destination. If you're in 0.0 you can also visit some Titan wrecks.
And no self-respecting pod pilot can call themselves an Eve vet if they haven't been to the New Eden system and gazed upon the unreachable object that is the Eve gate.

go to the eve gate.
then warp two systems away to the dead end system over there and check all of the planets and moons.
there is one thing with a giant obelisk.

Thanks for some excellent suggestions so far. The more I get, the longer my holiday:) Does anyone know a specific system with a titan wreck?

To be honest the Eve sights are pretty lack luster nothing that really WOW's I mean I can get the eve gate by opening windows media player and playing a song.

There is one particular sight i can recall, but i can't remember exactly which system... it was only 2 or 3 jumps from hek, through a few 0.5 systems. It was a warpable to object on the system overview, but when you got there the always present nebula is replaced with an awesome cloudy looking thing with 2 cyclones, it's awesome. If anyone knows more specifically where that was i'd like to find it again myself, i only accidentally ran into it.

Go to Shastal! Visit the City of God!!!
I'm almost positive the system name is Shastal, but the City of God itself is detailed in one of the EVE Chronicles, so you can likely find more information about its location there.
A long time ago, I received a bookmark to the pinpointed location from a friend, but I've never had enough time to journey out there and feast my eyes upon that wonder.

Head to c9n - and check out 'Steve'. Not really an acutal titan anymore, but he was the first titan to be popped. Did they happen to update the model with the new engine?

First mothership went down in YM-SRU, did the devs stick up a monument to that kill there?
Or did they only place a monument to the titan kill at C9N-CC?

I would suggest Arzi and it's 80 macro-courier mission runners.
Its quite eery seeing a constant stream of haulers undocking and warping the same route and back 23/7 of the day.
Some of them also have low sec status which I have yet to figure out why.
Sometimes the programme seems to faulter and you can stumble into a camp of shuttles of about a dozen of them hanging in space.
There is also a system in venal 250AU wide or something ridiculous.
The C9N titan wreck is quite cool as well.

Well the road trip has begun. First stop was the Eve gate which was pretty, but sadly I could not find a way through. Ctrl-F9 gets rid of the cans for snapshots which is very handy. I was not challenged or attacked once through the 10 or so low sec systems, but found 3 frozen corpses for souvenirs.
I'm very excited by the thought of a titan wreck so next trip is a 55 jump journey to C9N-CC. There seems to be a lot of 0.0 systems on the way, so hopefully I'll find a mothership or carrier to pose next to for some happy snaps. Thanks for all the sightseeing tips so far.

We have these people working in something called Internal Affairs and they would most likely throw me in the bay if I did that.
