Well I work for myself out of my home. I am a civil engineering CAD designer and 3d modeler. I do projects for companies such as Caltrans (California Dept. of Transportaion), Independent Engineers, Landscape Arhcitects, etc.

I work as an offshore engineer.
Bobbing around, on a semi-submersible rig, in North Sea just now.
It sux being offline for 2 weeks at a time but should have trained learning lvl 5, by time i get home.

Student, baby! Uh huh, and lovelin' it. Gonna be starting up at Evergreen State University next year, gonna be learning about organic and sustianable agriculture. No fecal matter (damn filters).

I teach kindergarten-aged kids in the morning, up to 14-17 year olds at night.

At the moment, I'm a sales manager, specialized in selling Hardware and services for communication uses. And as good as commercial i am, it is not something I want to do longer.
So as from starting this summer, I'll be doing a study as Human Resource Manager, here in Amsterdam.
I do have a RL, GF etc. More then i had back in beta. I have little time to play EVE and will probably have less in the future.

Thanx for all the replies peeps, it's very interesting to see the backgrounds of everybody playing Eve, so far it looks like a the majority of Eve players come from a technological background which in all honesty I expected because of how complex the game is and most technological minded people are Sci- Fi freaks anyway hehe

Actually, I've tried. But it doesn't work well. All they want to talk about are various televised matches, stats, and "This one time, I had lots of Mutalisk and..."
Things like that.

Well I am a Architectural Designer, ie I do 3D Models of Houses for the company I work for. Pretty intresting job suprisingly

That means I have wife and kids goes to work every day on my bicykle and not in a spaceship...
I'm not a miner handling big laserguns but has a pencil and my PC as most important tools in a job as a Pharmaceutical Engineer.
Naaa I'm not buying that... this is real life

I'm a starship captain currently employed by Dark Wheel to carry out security work for their mining operations. I enjoy skiing, blowing large spaceships out of the sky and the odd beer.
When I'm not flying millions of tonnes of starship, I am busy playing a game called 'University', where I have chosen to study in the field of Computer Science. During the day I sleep, do the odd bit of work and moan about my living conditions. In the evenings I like nothing better than to poison my body with alcohol, all the while making an arse of myself on the dancefloor.
