How long does it take cor CCP to get back to you on a petition, over a week ago when i jumped back to my original body after doing some PvP all my low level crystal implants have vanished. I petitioned it and only had some sort of mass reply message asking me questions , and i answered them the best i can, now more than 8 days have passed and iv heard nothing. In other MMOs if more than a few hours go by with no reply to a petition then thats considered bad customer service. I have been playing eve since 2003 and have 2 accounts. Maybe i am wrong here but should i not be appauled or is this perfectly normal. The only other time iv had to petition i go an answer the same day.

it's probably just that as alot of people had this or something similar happen they've had a high amount of petitions concerning it. the most i've had to wait for a reply was about a week but all you can really do is wait.
if you want to say something do that in the petition, just add a note to it, i wouldn't reccomend creating a new one to complain about the old one... ----------
Theres a wonderful world out there..
lets hope it doesn't hit this one |

Might be a stupid question, but have you checked to see if your implants have returned? I lost a measly set of +2's and a +3% damage implant on my last jump and had them returned within 6 hours I think. Petition was closed without communication with myself. ---

Ohnoes, now you will have more right at costumer service then 1 year playing characters!!!!! Seriously though. No matter how long you have been playing, there is a queue, live with it.
But because people keep filing stupid reimbursement petitions the queue for that gets real long. So you will probably have to wait a little while more. _______

In my experience, some types of petitions take longer to be dealt with than others due to their priority. I've had petitions dealt with same day and others in a few weeks.
Item replacement is clearly a low priority petition and will no doubt be answered in due course.
Regardless of when your petition is answered, it will be answered so sit back and relax. Just be thankful that when it does get answered, it will be dealt with properly.
Oh, and if you want to experience bad customer service, try any of SEO's train wrecks, particularly SWG.

Dude, if this loss was genuine (not saying its not but you can imagine the amount of chancers out there) and you lost a days training, maybe CCP will refund that. (I have no idea).
I completely understand how frustrating these things are, but bugs happen. In SWG I lost a jetpack during crafting due to a game bug (which was later confirmed). It took me just over 3 WEEKS of grinding to get all the parts for the damn pack so you can imagine how I felt when I was ejected prematurely from the crafting room losing all my parts only to be told by SOE GM they wouldnt replace the items. Yes, I quit the game over that, but it does put things into perspective. You WILL get your implants back!
1 Day training really is no big deal.

Edited by: magistre on 22/01/2008 10:00:12 im not really getting the carrier for the fun of it, its to help jump stuff to my corp deep in 0.0 space.
Well i understand there are chancers but im sure its al recorded on the servers who loses what and how/when.
Well i now know what to expect, makes me feel a little better that im not just being ignored or forgotten. Im just not used to a petition taking this long, on lord of the rings, everquest 2 and city of villians im used to getting an answer with in hours.

Did you have a jump clone in the station already, because there's a warning in this KB article:
Quote: In order to activate a jump clone you should be docked at a station which does not have a jump clone installed. A new jump clone will be installed in the station you jumps from. Warning: If there is already a jump clone in the station it will be destroyed along with any implants it may have installed.
Normally petitions are handled in the order they are recieved, depending a bit on the priority of the queue they are in.

Depends on the petition. I filed a stuck petition and dont even get a chance to open my email before the reply came back but when my game went on the fritz and the UI wouldn't update it took a few days. --Bird of Prey: Forum God

i know about the warning, i jumped from a station with no clones back to my original body that was 20 odd jumps away, then when i went to put my skill back to train i saw it was alot longer than it should be, thats when i noiticed.

Man... I'd be super ****ed about something like that. Hell, even getting the Jetpack Base in three weeks takes a bit of luck, even if you grind 10/7.
I'd quit over it, too. ________________

A MONTH? how can they get away with such poor customer service? As we are paying for this
i can tell you now if they take longer than 2 weeks in total to sort mine out ic canceling both my accounts.
There are plenty of other MMOs out there and soon to be more that i can give my money to.

If this is from 11 November last year about GTC's we replied and fixed the issue, you never replied to us though so the petition was closed automatically by the system a while later. Otherwise it was petitioned by another character or via email or something I assume?
Originally by: Stork DK Anyone know how long escalation usually takes?
If you mean escalation to the senior GM queue escalating it takes seconds, but then the senior GMs has to get to it, review everything and investigate it themselves, so having it escalated usually means you can wait for quite some time before getting a reply. If you're lucky the queue is low and you might get an answer a bit faster.

I see one petition from 20 December which was resolved and one from 16 December, an reply was sent to you requesting information but we never recieved a reply and it was eventually closed by our system. Same as the first reply really, if you're referring to a petition made by another account or email or something I might not see your petition.
