hello,
i need to know the cost of running a corp or the formula to get it.
i want a single office/headquarter... the least necessary at all.
that would be settled in empire (0.5-0.6 sec. status)

1 million ISK to found the corp.
10,000-100,000 ISK per month to rent headquarters in a non-crowded area.
That's about it, really.

Well, plus the skills to be able to manage a corp, such as Corporation Management, Ethnic Relations... just look in the Corporation Management skill group and pick which ones you think you'll need for your aim.

Some stations require anywhere from 1mil - 20mil to rent for a month but yea... thats based on how crowded the area is.

That's about it, really.
I've found the costs are usually directly related to the stations facilities. i.e. systems with medical, reprocessing and factorys are in demand and hence high price.
Stations without those facilities are usually cheap even in busy locations.

cool. but 20M is far from 100M
what is the maximum?
im trying to create a corp but he just asks me to choos logo, name and ticker... nothing about costs... then he asks me to SUBMIT.
when do i choose where to settle the hq and accept the salary?

The station you're in when you create your corp will be set as your first HQ

The station you're in when you create your corp will be set as your first HQ
ok thanks, but how do i determine the rent cost? :S
when i press "submit", the corp is created immediately?

You don't need an office to recruit, people can sign up at the HQ.
You only need an office if you need a corp hangar, or wish to move the HQ.

Oops, that may be a problem:
You cannot find out the rent of a station, unless you are in a player Corp....(you don`t have the role in an NPC corp )
(you`ll have to make the Corp first... )
Only way is to ask someone to look for you, and hope they are honest
(I`d help if I was asked)

at bare minimum, a corp does not need to have any offices at all, just a location that is designated the HQ. and just because it's the HQ does not mean you have any kind of corp office space.
btw check the office price in Jita 4-4 if you want to see how high the rent can get  last i checked it was well over 250 mill but that was many months ago. in 0.0 space, i believe the owner of the stations can set the office rent prices to whatever they want.

Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |
