Its the price of an active player-led dynamic in the game. I've always been a supporter of ISD news and always will be. I think the writers of those pieces deserve a lot of praise for the time and effort and I think the game of Eve would be greatly improved if there were 10x as many articles like this going live on the in-game news. Check our fight with stella/phoenix allianz 3-5 days ago (cant give exact date now, KB loads too slow). It was pretty much one of best fights i ever had in this game: 15-20 minute long slugfest with multiple ship classes (from frig to carrier) in one engagement.
