I'd like to point out the oxymoron here. Once you move to 0.0 you are not a pirate, you're something else. Piracy and 0.0 life are mutually exclusive things. Period.
I think it is possible to live in 0.0 and Pirate there. I think people use this single word to fulfill every niche and that is where the mistake and confusion sets in. Most 0.0 inhabitants PvP. Some commit acts of Piracy.
We should get away from the Pirate word and start calling ourselves Outlaws, because technically, from CCP's viewpoint, that is what we are.

I have to wonder- are these people even playing the same game as I am? Cruisers and Interceptors? Wut? Are the people being interviewed simply giving the 'reporters' completely wrong information? Or are the reporters just putting in whatever they think is right and ignoring the pirates being interviewed?
It always amazes me how out of touch with the game most CCP employees seem to be, outside of the very small core dev group. It's statements like the above that make them appear ridiculous.
its same old with ccp they lisen to the moanin anti-pirates/carebears but wen it comes to tlkin about pirates they think well slap that in and that o and abit of that instead of sayin right lets lissen to wat they really do i for one dnt fly cruiser and interceptors or in a big gang for piratin i fly a big bs mainly gank fitted since they pack a punch and tank and enough time to get the loot and sit waitin for next one to arrive

I think I'm going to apply for a journalist job with CCP when I get back from my break. I write too damn much on these forums as it is, might as well do something constructive with it other than add to threads that don't really need added to... plus, I'd interview the really important people... us, haha
Low sec is getting to be like 0.0, but that's the nature of the beast when you look at how many people are playing these days. It isn't the same Eve it was a year and a half ago *when I first played* and you could get by with 2 man gangs. Now you need more due to HP buffs, wtz, other pirate gangs, etc. Oh well, there have been good changes mixed in there too...
I'm really bored right now, and wish I could play Eve... I know right now, there is an active tanked Drake afk in a mission with FoF's and no drones, and here I am, at work, not in a gang with a prober taking him down... *sigh* oo new thread idea!
