Wow what a weird start to 2008. I must say the coalition is dead. No one seems to have any loyalty what so ever. The Goons have a nap with MC WTF is that. Now they stand by as AAA has a mom and carriers in C3 and are dropping poses like crazy good luck KOS. Where is the love for supposed to be allies. All the backstabbing in the drone regions. All I can say is this game has more drama than my wife novellas. |

Politics aside, I had fun during the fighting. I lost 3 ships, but it was my first real taste of PvP in this game and I enjoyed it. My only wish would be that it was not so one-sided so that my ships would have lasted a bit longer. No worries though, I am sure that someone will make more.

In all reality, you can not be surprised that AAA attacked KOS. Relations with them have been strained for a while. As for the coalition, it only formed to kill BOB. Granted, that has not yet been completed, but it's far enough along that most alliances can just go back to status quo.
And apparently this alt wants to play NAP online. What would eve be without more killing. If it wasn't for the war against BOB, I can guarantee you that there would not be so many people allied to each other as they are now. People like yourself (speaking to the alt) should just run back to empire if they don't want to get shot at. You are not wanted in 0.0. Your motherships with crappy setups are getting old.

you just summed up why bob will win. the exact thing happened 3 years ago at the end of the gnw, and its already happening again. Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] - Cortes |

Yeah, its pretty much just the **** alliances in the coalition causing issues.
KOS is terrible and doesnt deserve to live, I think goon are trying to keep them alive so they can go slaughter them for fun when bobs done...

it's kinda funny when you realize that KOS was the expendable meatshield for the goons. ... Why do I PvP? Because I love the feeling I get when I see the pretty lights and know that someone somewhere is screaming incoherently at their computer screen. |

Is it really a surprise that the goons dont care about the other members of the coalition. Im surprised that the goons didnt come and take C3 for themselves they seem to want the south all to themselves. It seems the coalition was dead the moment bob retreated.
Also if your are going to report about what AAA brought into C3 at least be accurate, they brought much more than a mom and carriers, much more!!!

There was a general claus put out by Goonswarm, stating that if AAA or KOS were to overstep their bounds and begin taking systems in a hostile action. Goonswarm would then step in and set things straight. Seeing as what Goons say and what Goons do are hardly ever one in the same, I can understand the lack of action.

GS's foreign policy is NBSI (this means if its neutral or worse, its an enemy)
KOS and GS are NAP'd (this means they don't shoot each other)
AAA and GS are NAP'd (this means they don't shoot each other)
GS, AAA, and KOS are totally separate entities that do not control each other.
I know EVE diplomacy isn't just black and white.

Well , to be more precise, AAA did not bring only a mom and a couple of carriers.... The displacement of forces from AAA's side was huge : more than 60 capitals (of which 35-40 were dreads) and over 140-150 Battleships. First thing they did, after they arrived in QRBN- system (1 jump from C3-0YD),was to jump in C3 and head directly to our cyno-jammer POS , which they managed to incapacitate pretty quick. Afterwards , the capitals jumped in C3 and started to shoot at KoS Station services (of which the fitting service was completely incapacitated and put offline) and put POSes (they had at least 3 - 4 Freighters which arrived together with the 140+ BS fleet). So far they managed to destroy the cyno-jammer , to put 4 POSes online and to incapacitate the Station's Fitting Service.
I put here all the facts just to show that their actions were extremly well planned for a long time. In the meanwhile , Goonswarm's answer to their attack was something like "aaah....it's nothing ... they only want some action...relax!" but, after we mentioned their POSes being brought in reinforced mode and their other actions , suddenly the goonies broke any contact with our officials and no answer was received from that part anymore.
IMHO , behind these events are the leaders of Red Alliance (the true rullers of the Coalition , those who are known to give direct orders to any AAA and/or Goonswarm at any given time as they please)...otherwise nobody could explain the audacity of AAA's actions or the reaction/attitude paralysis suddenly suffered by Goonswarm. This is, IMHO , how things will look from now on , more and more. Red Alliance knows better than anyone in this game what the word "dictatorship" means! Afterall , they invented it...the russians. The times when BoB rulled in Eve will seem like the Golden Age of humanity compared to what the "Reds" secretly prepare for us.
But , I say again , this is my OWN OPPINION as regular Eve player.I do not speak on behalf of anyone except me!

Its a sad, sad day. What on earth is this world coming to, where people can just move some ships in and shoot at anyone they like? IMHO TBQH LOL OHGOD
This is just my opinion, and in no way implies anyone in goonfleet cares about any of this.

First of all I doubt even AAA could muster up a force that significate. Atleast the battleship part. Maybe if it was a battleship only fleet. If they did /kudos.

Somehow I doubt Red is behind this. It's probably just AAA's way of saving face in light of the fact Impass isn't part of "impassible" for nothing. What better way to do it and take space at the same time, then move in on a weaker enemy. That and they have already seen Goons disaction before. Free reign to do as they please.
AAA - All the offensive advantages in the world coupled with probably the easiest region in space to defend.
KOS - An alliance of disadvantages. Has a region that, from a defensive stand point, is the most tactically horrifying thing in EVE. A Pvp force that has dwindled in numbers as well as experience. Amazingly bad luck when it comes to capital deployment against odds.
Tenerifis is a region dependent on others for support. With so many on the sidelines willing to watch, its only a matter of time.
