How could I be so foolish, retreating from PV (two jumps from us) to LXW (12-ish jumps from us) and crying to MM when we shoot you is a 'great strategic victory'. Congratulations :)

Anyway, we don't live in 304, there are rarely more than 10 INSRG in the constellation. You know as well as I do we live in an NPC station in PF-

Of course, combat keeps alliances trim and active, and makes them stronger. MC steamrolled the North last time because it had grown fat and lazy, there was simply nothing for PvPers to do so they inevitably drifted away.
The NNC have improved their PvP and fleet tactics a LOT as a direct result of learning from INSRG and fighting us. This kind of fighting makes the North stronger, MUCH stronger, and it would take an incredibly short-sighted person to think otherwise.
I'm sure that if there were a major invasion of MM or RZR space, INSRG would join together with them and match standings with the NNC on a temporary basis to see off the aggressor, this isnt a grudge match its just that a PvP alliance needs lots of targets or it dies. In the absense of an immediate threat however, this kind of skirmishing only makes us all stronger and more PvP ready for when the sh!t really hits the fan at a later date.
And it is good fun too.
