Hey,
I'm currently on a mission and have 4 out of like 30 ships left. Unfortunately, they ALL jam me when I try to engage. I can't keep a target lock long enough to get their shields below 60%.
Any way I can fight off being targetting jammed? Do I need to use an ECCM? If so, should I use multi-spectral or just the radar one?
Thanks

well for 1, ur not being target disrupted. your being jammed, and theres a difference. anyways, yes you can counter attack being jammed by an ecm, and dont go with a multi, go with whichever your race is. im not sure what race ur flying, but if you look at the attributes of your ship you will see what kind of targeting your ship does, whether it be radar, ladar, gravitron or 1 other i forget atm. then use that ecm
other than that i use drones, so when i do get a lock i send my drones on ship and let them chew the enemies apart.
(o yea, if ur using missile launchers then you can always use fof missiles to)

ECCM will only help you against player jammers. NPC's have a fixed chance of jamming you regardless of your sensor strength. If you do fit an ECCM for PvP then you would want to use the type specific for the race of your ship: Radar is for use on Amarr ships.
As for dealing with Jamming NPC's, drones are great because one they engage, they will continue to attack even if you lose target lock.
FoF missiles tend to be too random to be effective against large numbers like you are discribing.
A sensor booster with a Scan Resolution script will help you to regain your locks faster after you are jammed.
The most effective way to deal with jamming NPC's is to bring a friend/alt. It is easy for one person to draw the full attention of the NPC's while the other rips them apart without any problems.

Thanks. I have a sensor booster, will have to outfit it.
One more question, where can I find the scan resolution script on the market? I looked for scripts but came up empty. They in ammo or under electronics?
Thanks a ton.
