Lost my pimp crow + snake clone to lag in a system with only 6-7 guys in.
Rapier appears on overview and I'm immediately locked and scrambled, when there's an uncloaking locking delay penalty to start with... A second later I'm webbed.
Crows pop. No way to warp away: UI completely unresponsive. And here goes the pod...
But at least the guy who got me is a good PvP'er and I'm confident he will make good use of what he got instead of running to Jita.

Shame on you CCP!!!! Boo hiss boo!!!
When they finally fix this lag, I'll get you guys some glass's for your celebratory whine
Seriously people, you don't NEED to have a bigger battle than the other guy, most FvF's just descend into a bunch of cap ships sitting there plugging each other for hours after all the smaller ships have either a) Given up trying to hurt the caps or b) Got shot down...
I know CCP should probably fix their game if it's broken and fixable... But for now, quit whining and have smaller battles, and don't be so greedy...
You must PvP a lot to ignore that you don't even need fleet battles to suffer lag.
The fact is that CCP is selling a game which generally fails at what it's supposed to allow, and it has been so at various degrees since the beginning.
I could care less about graphics and futile stuff if bugs and code were purged once for all. But nowadays it's all about form and let's happily forget about substance... But after all, CCP is probably right if your mindset is symptomatic of the kind of customer they aim for

Lets talk about it the day it goes beyond the blablabla stage and is implemented. Until then the impact this will have is speculative.
Upgrading hardware is no cure for duct tape programming style or design flaws.
