Anybody familiar with roaming gangs will be all too familiar with aligning. Having to double click as close to a celestial object as possible so you are up to speed and in the correct direction to instantly hit warp speed. There is even a broadcast assigned to this. So CCP recognizes the function. So why canÆt we have an alignment button under the selected items window. We have one for look at, orbits and keep a distance. So why not to align my ship at speed and therefore allowing perfect alignment without having to spin the camera around to find the dam stargate and then fiddle with the cursor. CCP please save us agro by just putting in an ôalign my ship toö command. (Guys if you want this in the game please speak up here)

Oh joy \o/ people like what I have to say and I now feel like such a big man. Now to pick a fight with someone whoÆs much larger than me and realize once again that IÆm not that big after all.
Hello Mr Zulupark I understand that your schedule is very busy juggling your time between. Nerfing minmatar speed tanking in response to your secret character in Bob getting poded by AAA for the 100th time (guys you can put your tinfoil hats on at that reference itÆs okay with me). And of course the old important task of nerfing cap ships by the backdoor as this does not require you to release a Dev blog (thank god!). But if you could consider this topic I would greatly appreciate it. You know---sort of remember to mention it at the next creative content meeting at CCP preferably before the beer takes hold that would be just great.
Thanks
Tim

Originally by: Abrazzar And while you're at adding this also add a 'Align Fleet to...' command. That'd be so much more convenient when no one has to search the known space for that one stargate or whatever to align to.
yes from my experience of FCing mobile gangs that would be so useful. But think about how useful that would be for goonswarm. as opposed to teaching 1000 noobs what to do. In fact if you take the idea far enough it could be like what the calculator has done for mental arithmetic..........no one knows S**T anymore they just follow the automated functions :)

guys I think we're going a little bit off-topic in typical eve-o forum style.
Just remember that this is about installing an "align my ship to command" nothing else.
I'm sure there are lots of other commands which could improve mobility or mess-up the game mechanics. However they are void of the point and could potentially be considered a thread hijack. Oh and for those who don't know the ISD does not like thread hijacking. So be careful guys.

To aid gang warps, you could also have "approach fleet to <object>".
Either way tho.. /signed
sounds like the same thing to me and I've seen this idea before it's all good.
