Unless my math really sucks.
The hardwiring that reduces launcher or turret cpu by 5%, will always be worse then the hardwiring that adds 5% to cpu. Its either one or the other because they both use implant slot 6.

Op; Yes you are correct. It is, but there are sometimes setups where it helps to have one over the other.

There is no setup where the -5% turret/launcher cpu use implant is better then the +5% cpu implant.
If you somehow used 100% of your CPU on just turret/launchers, then the implants would be equal at best!

ever fitted mining laser upgrades?
that makes it pretty easy to go over your cpu

Nope, just checked in EFT. With mining laser upgrades the mining turrets themselves still use less then total cpu available. Your going over total cpu because of the mining upgrades also use alot of cpu.
On a retreiver with *no skills* its ververy very little better to use the -5% turret cpu implant, though you still wouldn't fit crap as it goes way over cpu use with the upgrades.

But is there a difference in the price of the implants? If the -5% implant is cheaper, it might be worth considering.

They are all 79k LP and 79m isk in the LP store. I wouldn't doubt if it was cheaper in market though, I'm too lazy to look up the implant names again>.<

I just felt that it should be said that the KZA2000 (5% turret/launcher cpu) is slot 10, not slot 6.
